  3 G2532 And G2064 you shall come G4314 to G3588 the G2409 priest, G3739 who G302 ever G1510.3 might be G1722 in G3588   G2250 those days, G1565   G2532 and G2046 you shall say G4314 to G1473 him, G312 I announce G4594 today G2962 to the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G3754 that G1525 I have entered G1519 into G3588 the G1093 land G3739 which G3660 the lord swore by an oath G2962   G3588 to G3962 our fathers G1473   G1325 to give G1473 to us.

  5 G2532 And G611 you shall respond G2532 and G2046 shall say G1725 before G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G* [2threw off Syria G577   G3588   G3962 1My father], G1473   G2532 and G2597 he went down G1519 into G* Egypt, G2532 and G3939 sojourned G1563 there G1722 with G706 [2in number G1024 1few], G2532 and G1096 became G1563 there G1519 into G1484 [2nation G3173 1a great] G2532 and G4128 [2multitude G4183 1a populous].

  9 G2532 And G1521 he brought G1473 us G1519 into G3588   G5117 this place, G3778   G2532 and G1325 he gave G1473 to us G3588   G1093 this land, G3778   G1093 a land G4482 flowing G1051 milk G2532 and G3192 honey.
  10 G2532 And G3568 now, G2400 behold, G5342 I have brought G3588 the G536 first-fruit G3588 of the G1081 produce G3588 of the G1093 land G3739 which G1325 you gave G1473 to me, G2962 O lord .   12 G1437 And whenever G1161   G4931 you should complete G586 to tithe G3956 all G3588 the G1925.1 tenth part G3588 of the G1081 produce G3588   G1093 of your land G1473   G1722 in G3588 the G2094 [2year G3588   G5154 1third], G3588 the G1208 second G1925.1 tenth part G1325 you shall give G3588 to the G* Levite, G2532 and G3588 to the G4339 foreigner, G2532 and G3588 to the G3737 orphan, G2532 and G3588 to the G5503 widow; G2532 and G2068 they shall eat G1722 in G3588   G4172 your cities, G1473   G2532 and G1705 they shall be satisfied.

  3 H935 ובאת And thou shalt go H413 אל unto H3548 הכהן the priest H834 אשׁר that H1961 יהיה shall be H3117 בימים days, H1992 ההם in those H559 ואמרת and say H413 אליו unto H5046 הגדתי him, I profess H3117 היום this day H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H3588 כי that H935 באתי I am come H413 אל unto H776 הארץ the country H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע swore H3068 יהוה the LORD H1 לאבתינו unto our fathers H5414 לתת׃ for to give
  4 H3947 ולקח shall take H3548 הכהן And the priest H2935 הטנא the basket H3027 מידך out of thine hand, H3240 והניחו   H6440 לפני before H4196 מזבח the altar H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God.
  5 H6030 וענית And thou shalt speak H559 ואמרת and say H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H761 ארמי A Syrian H6 אבד ready to perish H1 אבי my father, H3381 וירד and he went down H4714 מצרימה into Egypt, H1481 ויגר and sojourned H8033 שׁם there H4462 במתי   H4592 מעט with a few, H1961 ויהי and became H8033 שׁם there H1471 לגוי a nation, H1419 גדול great, H6099 עצום mighty, H7227 ורב׃ and populous:
  6 H7489 וירעו evil entreated H854 אתנו   H4713 המצרים And the Egyptians H6031 ויענונו us, and afflicted H5414 ויתנו us, and laid H5921 עלינו upon H5656 עבדה bondage: H7186 קשׁה׃ us hard
  7 H6817 ונצעק And when we cried H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H1 אבתינו of our fathers, H8085 וישׁמע heard H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H6963 קלנו our voice, H7200 וירא and looked on H853 את   H6040 ענינו our affliction, H853 ואת   H5999 עמלנו and our labor, H853 ואת   H3906 לחצנו׃ and our oppression:
  8 H3318 ויוצאנו brought us forth H3068 יהוה And the LORD H4714 ממצרים   H3027 ביד hand, H2389 חזקה with a mighty H2220 ובזרע arm, H5186 נטויה and with an outstretched H4172 ובמרא terribleness, H1419 גדל and with great H226 ובאתות and with signs, H4159 ובמפתים׃ and with wonders:
  9 H935 ויבאנו And he hath brought H413 אל us into H4725 המקום place, H2088 הזה this H5414 ויתן and hath given H853 לנו את   H776 הארץ land, H2063 הזאת us this H776 ארץ a land H2100 זבת that floweth H2461 חלב with milk H1706 ודבשׁ׃ and honey.
  10 H6258 ועתה And now, H2009 הנה behold, H935 הבאתי I have brought H853 את   H7225 ראשׁית the firstfruits H6529 פרי the firstfruits H127 האדמה of the land, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתה hast given H3068 לי יהוה thou, O LORD, H3240 והנחתו   H6440 לפני it before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H7812 והשׁתחוית and worship H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God:

  16 H3117 היום day H2088 הזה This H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H6680 מצוך hath commanded H6213 לעשׂות thee to do H853 את   H2706 החקים statutes H428 האלה these H853 ואת   H4941 המשׁפטים and judgments: H8104 ושׁמרת thou shalt therefore keep H6213 ועשׂית and do H853 אותם   H3605 בכל them with all H3824 לבבך thine heart, H3605 ובכל and with all H5315 נפשׁך׃ thy soul.
  17 H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H559 האמרת Thou hast avouched H3117 היום this day H1961 להיות to be H430 לך לאלהים thy God, H1980 וללכת and to walk H1870 בדרכיו in his ways, H8104 ולשׁמר and to keep H2706 חקיו his statutes, H4687 ומצותיו and his commandments, H4941 ומשׁפטיו and his judgments, H8085 ולשׁמע and to hearken H6963 בקלו׃ unto his voice:
  18 H3068 ויהוה And the LORD H559 האמירך hath avouched H3117 היום thee this day H1961 להיות to be H5971 לו לעם people, H5459 סגלה his peculiar H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר he hath promised H8104 לך ולשׁמר thee, and that shouldest keep H3605 כל all H4687 מצותיו׃ his commandments;
  19 H5414 ולתתך And to make H5945 עליון thee high H5921 על above H3605 כל all H1471 הגוים nations H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה he hath made, H8416 לתהלה in praise, H8034 ולשׁם and in name, H8597 ולתפארת and in honor; H1961 ולהיתך and that thou mayest be H5971 עם people H6918 קדשׁ a holy H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר׃ he hath spoken.
Geneva(i) 1 Also when thou shalt come into the lande which the Lord thy God giueth thee for inheritance, and shalt possesse it, and dwell therein, 2 Then shalt thou take of the first of all the fruite of the earth, and bring it out of the lande that the Lord thy God giueth thee, and put it in a basket, and goe vnto the place, which the Lord thy God shall chose to place his Name there. 3 And thou shalt come vnto the Priest, that shall be in those dayes, and say vnto him, I acknowledge this day vnto the Lord thy God, that I am come vnto the countrey which the Lord sware vnto our fathers for to giue vs. 4 Then the Priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it downe before the altar of the Lord thy God. 5 And thou shalt answere and say before the Lord thy God, A Syrian was my father, who being ready to perish for hunger, went downe into Egypt, and soiourned there with a small company, and grew there vnto a nation great, mightie and full of people. 6 And the Egyptians vexed vs, and troubled vs, and laded vs with cruell bondage. 7 But when we cried vnto the Lord God of our fathers, the Lord heard our voyce, and looked on our aduersitie, and on our labour, and on our oppression. 8 And the Lord brought vs out of Egypt in a mightie hande, and a stretched out arme, with great terriblenesse, both in signes and wonders. 9 And he hath brought vs into this place, and hath giuen vs this land, euen a lande that floweth with milke and hony. 10 And now, lo, I haue brought ye first fruites of the land which thou, O Lord, hast giuen me, and thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God: 11 And thou shalt reioyce in all the good things which the Lord thy God hath giuen vnto thee and to thine houshold, thou and the Leuite, and the stranger that is among you. 12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tythes of thine increase, the thirde yeere, which is the yeere of tithing, and hast giuen it vnto the Leuite, to the stranger, to the fatherlesse, and to the widowe, that they may eate within thy gates, and be satisfied, 13 Then thou shalt say before the Lord thy God, I haue brought the halowed thing out of mine house, and also haue giuen it vnto the Leuites and to the strangers, to the fatherlesse, and to the widow, according to all thy comandements which thou hast commanded me: I haue transgressed none of thy comandements, nor forgotten them. 14 I haue not eaten therof in my mourning, nor suffred ought to perish through vncleannes, nor giuen ought thereof for the dead, but haue hearkened vnto the voyce of the Lord my God: I haue done after al that thou hast comaded me. 15 Looke downe from thine holy habitation, euen from heauen, and blesse thy people Israel, and the lande which thou hast giuen vs (as thou swarest vnto our fathers) the land that floweth with milke and hony. 16 This day the Lord thy God doeth command thee to do these ordinances, and lawes: keepe them therefore, and do them with al thine heart, and with all thy soule. 17 Thou hast set vp the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walke in his wayes, and to keepe his ordinances, and his commandements, and his lawes, and to hearken vnto his voyce. 18 And the Lord hath set thee vp this day, to be a precious people vnto him (as hee hath promised thee) and that thou shouldest keepe all his commandements, 19 And to make thee high aboue al nations (which he hath made) in praise, and in name, and in glory, and that thou shouldest be an holy people vnto the Lord thy God, as he hath said.

YLT(i) 1 `And it hath been, when thou comest in unto the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee--an inheritance, and thou hast possessed it, and dwelt in it, 2 that thou hast taken of the first of all the fruits of the ground which thou dost bring in out of thy land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee, and hast put it in a basket, and gone unto the place which Jehovah thy God doth choose to cause His name to tabernacle there. 3 `And thou hast come in unto the priest who is in those days, and hast said unto him, I have declared to-day to Jehovah thy God, that I have come in unto the land which Jehovah hath sworn to our fathers to give to us; 4 and the priest hath taken the basket out of thy hand, and placed it before the altar of Jehovah thy God. 5 `And thou hast answered and said before Jehovah thy God, A perishing Aramaean is my father! and he goeth down to Egypt, and sojourneth there with few men, and becometh there a nation, great, mighty, and numerous; 6 and the Egyptians do us evil, and afflict us, and put on us hard service; 7 and we cry unto Jehovah, God of our fathers, and Jehovah heareth our voice, and seeth our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression; 8 and Jehovah bringeth us out from Egypt, by a strong hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great fear, and by signs, and by wonders, 9 and he bringeth us in unto this place, and giveth to us this land--a land flowing with milk and honey. 10 `And now, lo, I have brought in the first of the fruits of the ground which thou hast given to me, O Jehovah; --and thou hast placed it before Jehovah thy God, and bowed thyself before Jehovah thy God, 11 and rejoiced in all the good which Jehovah thy God hath given to thee, and to thy house, thou, and the Levite, and the sojourner who is in thy midst.
12 `When thou dost complete to tithe all the tithe of thine increase in the third year, the year of the tithe, then thou hast given to the Levite, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, and they have eaten within thy gates, and been satisfied, 13 and thou hast said before Jehovah thy God, I have put away the separated thing out of the house, and also have given it to the Levite, and to the sojourner, and to the orphan, and to the widow, according to all Thy command which Thou hast commanded me; I have not passed over from Thy commands, nor have I forgotten. 14 I have not eaten in mine affliction of it, nor have I put away of it for uncleanness, nor have I given of it for the dead; I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that Thou hast commanded me; 15 look from Thy holy habitation, from the heavens, and bless Thy people Israel, and the ground which Thou hast given to us, as Thou hast sworn to our fathers--a land flowing with milk and honey.
16 `This day Jehovah thy God is commanding thee to do these statutes and judgments; and thou hast hearkened and done them with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, 17 Jehovah thou hast caused to promise to-day to become thy God, and to walk in His ways, and to keep His statutes, and His commands, and His judgments, and to hearken to His voice. 18 `And Jehovah hath caused thee to promise to-day to become His people, a peculiar treasure, as He hath spoken to thee, and to keep all His commands; 19 so as to make thee uppermost above all the nations whom He hath made for a praise, and for a name, and for beauty, and for thy being a holy people to Jehovah thy God, as He hath spoken.
ASV(i) 1 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein, 2 that thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which thou shalt bring in from thy land that Jehovah thy God giveth thee; and thou shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there. 3 And thou shalt come unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto Jehovah thy God, that I am come unto the land which Jehovah sware unto our fathers to give us. 4 And the priest shall take the basket out of thy hand, and set it down before the altar of Jehovah thy God. 5 And thou shalt answer and say before Jehovah thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father; and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there, few in number; and he became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous. 6 And the Egyptians dealt ill with us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage: 7 and we cried unto Jehovah, the God of our fathers, and Jehovah heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our toil, and our oppression; 8 and Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders; 9 and he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. 10 And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which thou, O Jehovah, hast given me.
