5 H3605 כל All H428 אלה these H5892 ערים cities H1219 בצרת fenced H2346 חומה walls, H1364 גבהה with high H1817 דלתים gates, H1280 ובריח and bars; H905 לבד beside H5892 מערי towns H6521 הפרזי unwalled H7235 הרבה many. H3966 מאד׃ a great

6 H2763 ונחרם And we utterly destroyed H853 אותם H834 כאשׁר them, as H6213 עשׂינו we did H5511 לסיחן unto Sihon H4428 מלך king H2809 חשׁבון of Heshbon, H2763 החרם utterly destroying H3605 כל of every H5892 עיר city. H4962 מתם the men, H802 הנשׁים women, H2945 והטף׃ and children,

7 H3605 וכל But all H929 הבהמה the cattle, H7998 ושׁלל and the spoil H5892 הערים of the cities, H962 בזונו׃ we took for a prey

8 H3947 ונקח And we took H6256 בעת time H1931 ההוא at that H853 את H776 הארץ the land H3027 מיד out of the hand H8147 שׁני of the two H4428 מלכי kings H567 האמרי of the Amorites H834 אשׁר that H5676 בעבר on this side H3383 הירדן Jordan, H5158 מנחל from the river H769 ארנן of Arnon H5704 עד unto H2022 הר mount H2768 חרמון׃ Hermon;

10 H3605 כל All H5892 ערי the cities H4334 המישׁר of the plain, H3605 וכל and all H1568 הגלעד Gilead, H3605 וכל and all H1316 הבשׁן Bashan, H5704 עד unto H5548 סלכה Salchah H154 ואדרעי and Edrei, H5892 ערי cities H4467 ממלכת of the kingdom H5747 עוג of Og H1316 בבשׁן׃ in Bashan.

11 H3588 כי For H7535 רק only H5747 עוג Og H4428 מלך king H1316 הבשׁן of Bashan H7604 נשׁאר remained H3499 מיתר of the remnant H7497 הרפאים of giants; H2009 הנה behold, H6210 ערשׂו his bedstead H6210 ערשׂ a bedstead H1270 ברזל of iron; H3808 הלה not H1931 הוא it H7237 ברבת in Rabbath H1121 בני of the children H5983 עמון of Ammon? 13 H3499 ויתר And the rest H1568 הגלעד of Gilead, H3605 וכל and all H1316 הבשׁן Bashan, H4467 ממלכת the kingdom H5747 עוג of Og, H5414 נתתי gave H2677 לחצי I unto the half H7626 שׁבט tribe H4519 המנשׁה of Manasseh; H3605 כל all H2256 חבל the region H709 הארגב of Argob, H3605 לכל with all H1316 הבשׁן Bashan, H1931 ההוא which H7121 יקרא was called H776 ארץ the land H7497 רפאים׃ of giants.

14 H2971 יאיר Jair H1121 בן the son H4519 מנשׁה of Manasseh H3947 לקח took H853 את H3605 כל all H2256 חבל the country H709 ארגב of Argob H5704 עד unto H1366 גבול the coasts H1651 הגשׁורי of Geshuri H4602 והמעכתי and Maachathi; H7121 ויקרא and called H853 אתם H5921 על them after H8034 שׁמו his own name, H853 את H1316 הבשׁן H2334 חות יאיר H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה׃ this

15 H4353 ולמכיר unto Machir. H5414 נתתי And I gave H853 את H1568 הגלעד׃ Gilead

16 H7206 ולראובני And unto the Reubenites H1425 ולגדי and unto the Gadites H5414 נתתי I gave H4480 מן from H1568 הגלעד Gilead H5704 ועד even unto H5158 נחל the river H769 ארנן Arnon H8432 תוך half H5158 הנחל the valley, H1366 וגבל and the border H5704 ועד even unto H2999 יבק Jabbok, H5158 הנחל the river H1366 גבול the border H1121 בני of the children H5983 עמון׃ of Ammon;

17 H6160 והערבה The plain H3383 והירדן also, and Jordan, H1366 וגבל and the coast H3672 מכנרת H5704 ועד even unto H3220 ים the sea H6160 הערבה of the plain, H3220 ים sea, H4417 המלח the salt H8478 תחת under H794 אשׁדת H6449 הפסגה H4217 מזרחה׃ eastward.

18 H6680 ואצו And I commanded H853 אתכם H6256 בעת time, H1931 ההוא you at that H559 לאמר saying, H3068 יהוה The LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H5414 נתן hath given H853 לכם את H776 הארץ land H2063 הזאת you this H3423 לרשׁתה to possess H2502 חלוצים armed H5674 תעברו it: ye shall pass over H6440 לפני before H251 אחיכם your brethren H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H3605 כל all H1121 בני meet for the war. 19 H7535 רק But H802 נשׁיכם your wives, H2945 וטפכם and your little ones, H4735 ומקנכם and your cattle, H3045 ידעתי (I know H3588 כי that H4735 מקנה cattle,) H7227 רב ye have much H3427 לכם ישׁבו shall abide H5892 בעריכם in your cities H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתי׃ I have given

20 H5704 עד H834 אשׁר which H5117 יניח have given rest H3068 יהוה the LORD H251 לאחיכם unto your brethren, H3423 ככם וירשׁו possess H1571 גם also H1992 הם as well as unto you, and they H853 את H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H5414 נתן hath given H1992 להם H5676 בעבר them beyond H3383 הירדן Jordan: H7725 ושׁבתם and shall ye return H376 אישׁ every man H3425 לירשׁתו unto his possession, H834 אשׁר H5414 נתתי׃ I have given

21 H853 ואת H3091 יהושׁוע Joshua H6680 צויתי And I commanded H6256 בעת time, H1931 ההוא at that H559 לאמר saying, H5869 עיניך Thine eyes H7200 הראת have seen H853 את H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה hath done H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H8147 לשׁני two H4428 המלכים kings: H428 האלה unto these H3651 כן so H6213 יעשׂה do H3068 יהוה shall the LORD H3605 לכל unto all H4467 הממלכות the kingdoms H834 אשׁר whither H859 אתה thou H5674 עבר passest. 22 H3808 לא Ye shall not H3372 תיראום fear H3588 כי them: for H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H1931 הוא he H3898 הנלחם׃ shall fight

23 H2603 ואתחנן H413 אל H3068 יהוה the LORD H6256 בעת time, H1931 ההוא at that H559 לאמר׃ saying,

24 H136 אדני O Lord H3069 יהוה GOD, H859 אתה thou H2490 החלות hast begun H7200 להראות to show H853 את H5650 עבדך thy servant H853 את H1433 גדלך thy greatness, H853 ואת H3027 ידך hand: H2389 החזקה and thy mighty H834 אשׁר for H4310 מי what H410 אל God H8064 בשׁמים in heaven H776 ובארץ or in earth, H834 אשׁר that H6213 יעשׂה can do H4639 כמעשׂיך according to thy works, H1369 וכגבורתך׃ and according to thy might?

26 H5674 ויתעבר was wroth H3068 יהוה But the LORD H4616 בי למענכם with me for your sakes, H3808 ולא and would not H8085 שׁמע hear H413 אלי hear H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה me: and the LORD H413 אלי unto H7227 רב me, Let it suffice H408 לך אל no H3254 תוסף more H1696 דבר thee; speak H413 אלי unto H5750 עוד more H1697 בדבר matter. 27 H5927 עלה Get thee up H7218 ראשׁ into the top H6449 הפסגה of Pisgah, H5375 ושׂא and lift up H5869 עיניך thine eyes H3220 ימה westward, H6828 וצפנה and northward, H8486 ותימנה and southward, H4217 ומזרחה and eastward, H7200 וראה and behold H5869 בעיניך with thine eyes: H3588 כי for H3808 לא thou shalt not H5674 תעבר go over H853 את H3383 הירדן Jordan. H2088 הזה׃ this

28 H6680 וצו But charge H853 את H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H2388 וחזקהו and encourage H553 ואמצהו him, and strengthen H3588 כי him: for H1931 הוא he H5674 יעבר shall go over H6440 לפני before H5971 העם people, H2088 הזה this H1931 והוא and he H5157 ינחיל shall cause them to inherit H853 אותם H853 את H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H7200 תראה׃ thou shalt see.

29 H3427 ונשׁב So we abode H1516 בגיא in the valley H4136 מול over against H1047 בית פעור׃ Beth-peor.
