¹⁵ That all of you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom all of you shine as lights in the world;

⁵ They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.

⁵ For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.

¹⁴ All of you are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. ¹⁵ Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

⁴⁵ That all of you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

⁴⁸ Be all of you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be all of you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

¹⁷ Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him here to me.

⁶ And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

³⁵ But love all of you your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and all of you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

³⁵ He was a burning and a shining light: and all of you were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

⁴⁰ And with many other words (o. logos) did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

³⁰ Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

¹⁹ For your obedience has come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

⁸ Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that all of you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ Wherefore come out from among them, and be all of you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

¹ Be all of you therefore followers of God, as dear children; ² And walk in love, (o. agape) as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.

⁷ Be not all of you therefore partakers with them. ⁸ For all of you were sometimes darkness, but now are all of you light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

²⁷ That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

¹⁰ That all of you may approve things that are excellent; that all of you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

²³ And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit (o. pneuma) and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

² A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, able to teach;

¹⁰ And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.

⁷ And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.

¹⁴ I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

²⁰ Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

⁶ If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

¹⁰ Not embezzling, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

¹⁵ These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.

²⁶ For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

¹⁴ As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: ¹⁵ But as he which has called you is holy, so be all of you holy in all manner of conversation; ¹⁶ Because it is written, Be all of you holy; for I am holy. ¹⁷ And if all of you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

⁹ But all of you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, an exclusive people; that all of you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

¹² Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

¹⁴ Wherefore, beloved, seeing that all of you look for such things, be diligent that all of you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

¹ Behold, what manner of love (o. agape) the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. ² Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. ³ And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

⁹ Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
