Jeremiah 21

  1 G3588 The G3056 word G3588   G1096 coming G3844 from G2962 the lord G4314 to G* Jeremiah, G3753 when G649 [³sent G4314 ⁴to G1473 ⁵him G3588   G935 ¹king G* ²Zedekiah] G3588   G* Pashur G5207 son G* of Melchiah, G2532 and G3588   G* Zephaniah G5207 son G* of Maaseiah G3588 the G2409 priest, G3004 saying,

  2 G1905 You ask G4012 [³for G1473 ⁴us G3588 ¹the G2962 ² lord]! G3754 for G935 the king G* of Babylon G2186 has set G1909 by G1473 us; G1487 if G4160 the lord will do G2962   G2596 according to G3956 all G3588   G2297 his wonders, G1473   G2532 and G565 the king shall go forth G575 from G1473 us.

  3 G2532 And G2036 [²said G4314 ³to G1473 ⁴them G* ¹Jeremiah], G3779 Thus G2046 you shall say G4314 to G* Zedekiah,

  4 G3592 Thus G3004 says G2962 the lord, G3588 the G2316 God G* of Israel, G2400 Behold, G1473 I G3344 turn back G3588 the G3696 weapons G3588   G4170.1 of warfare G3739 which are G1722 in G3588   G5495 your hands, G1473   G2532 and G1722 by G3739 which G1473 you G4170 wage war G1722 with G1473 them G4314 against G3588 the G* Chaldeans, G3588 the ones G4788 hemming G1473 you in G1855 who are outside G3588 the G5038 wall; G2532 and G4863 I will gather G1473 them G1519 into G3588 the G3319 midst G3588   G4172 of this city.   5 G2532 And G4170 I shall wage war G1473 myself G1473 against you G1722 with G5495 a hand G1614 being stretched out, G2532 and G1722 with G1023 [²arm G2900 ¹a fortified] G3326 with G2372 rage G2532 and G3709 [²anger G3173 ¹great].

  6 G2532 And G3960 I will strike G3956 all G3588 the ones G2730 dwelling G1722 in G3588   G4172 this city, G3778   G444 men G2532 and G3588 the G2934 cattle. G1722 By G2288 [²death G3173 ¹a great] G2532 even G599 they shall die.

  7 G2532 And G3326 after G3778 these things, G3779 thus G3004 says G2962 the lord, G3860 I will deliver up G3588   G* Zedekiah G935 king G* of Judah, G2532 and G3588   G3816 his servants, G1473   G2532 and G3588 the G2992 people, G3588 the one G2641 surviving G1722 in G3588   G4172 this city G3778   G575 from G3588   G2288 death, G2532 and G575 from G3588   G3042 famine, G2532 and G575 from G3588 the G3162 sword, G1519 into G5495 the hands G2190 of their enemies, G1473   G3588 of the ones G2212 seeking G3588   G5590 their lives. G1473   G2532 And G2629 they shall cut them in pieces G1473   G1722 by G4750 the mouth G3162 of the sword; G3756 I will not G5339 spare G1909 against G1473 them, G2532 and G3766.2 in no way G3627 shall I pity G1473 them.

  8 G2532 And G4314 [²to G3588   G2992 ³this people G3778   G2046 ¹you shall say], G3592 Thus G3004 says G2962 the lord, G2400 Behold, G1473 I G1325 put G4253 before G4383 your face G1473   G3588 the G3598 way G3588   G2222 of life, G2532 and G3588 the G3598 way G3588   G2288 of death.

  9 G3588 The one G2521 being settled G1722 in G3588   G4172 this city G3778   G599 shall die G1722 by G3162 the sword G2532 and G1722 by G3042 famine; G2532 and G3588 the one G1607 going forth G4378.2 to join G4314 with G3588 the G* Chaldeans, G3588 the ones G4788 hemming you in, G1473   G2198 shall live; G2532 and G1510.8.3 [²will be G3588   G5590 ¹his life] G1473   G1519 for G4661 spoils, G2198 he shall live.

  10 G1360 For G4741 I firmly fixed G3588   G4383 my face G1473   G1909 against G3588   G4172 this city G3778   G1519 for G2556 bad, G2532 and G3756 not G1519 for G18 good, G3004 says G3962 the lord . G1519 Into G5495 the hands G935 of the king G* of Babylon G3860 it shall be delivered up, G2532 and G2618 he shall incinerate G1473 it G1722 by G4442 fire.

  11 G3588 O G3624 house G935 of the king G* of Judah, G191 hear G3056 the word G2962 of the lord!

  12 G3624 O house G* of David, G3592 Thus G3004 says G2962 the lord; G2919 Arbitrate G4404 [²in the morning G2917 ¹judgment], G2532 and G2720 straighten out, G2532 and G1807 rescue G1283 the one being torn in pieces G1537 from G5495 the hand G91 of the one wronging G1473 him! G3704 so that G3361 [²should not G381 ³be lit G5613 ⁴as G4442 ⁵a fire G3588   G3709 ¹my anger], G1473   G2532 and G2545 it should be kindled, G2532 and G3756 there will not be G1510.8.3   G3588   G4570 one extinguishing it.

  13 G2400 Behold, G1473 I am G4314 against G1473 you, G3588 O one G2730 dwelling G3588 the G2835.1 valley G* of Sor; G3588 the G3977 plain country G3588 of the ones G3004 saying, G5100 Who G4422 shall terrify G1473 us? G2228 Or G5100 who G1525 shall enter G4314 to G3588   G2732 our home? G1473  

  14 G2532 And G4629.4 I will look about G1909 upon G1473 you, G2532 and G381 I will kindle G4442 a fire G1722 in G3588   G1409.1 her forest. G1473   G2532 And G2068 it shall devour G3956 all G3588 the things G2945 round about G1473 her.
