2 Chronicles 22 And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the oldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

3 H1571 He also H1980 walked H1870 in the ways H1004 of the house H256 of Ahab: H517 for his mother H3289 was his counselor H7561 to do wickedly.

7 H8395 And the destruction H274 of Ahaziah H430 was of God H935 by coming H3141 to Joram: H935 for when he was come, H3318 he went H3088 out with Jehoram H413 against H3058 Jehu H1121 the son H5250 of Nimshi, H834 whom H3068 the LORD H4886 had anointed H3772 to cut H1004 off the house H256 of Ahab.

8 H1961 And it came H3058 to pass, that, when Jehu H8199 was executing judgment H1004 on the house H256 of Ahab, H4672 and found H8269 the princes H3063 of Judah, H1121 and the sons H251 of the brothers H274 of Ahaziah, H8334 that ministered H274 to Ahaziah, H2026 he slew them.

9 H1245 And he sought H274 Ahaziah: H3920 and they caught H2244 him, (for he was hid H8111 in Samaria, H935 ) and brought H3058 him to Jehu: H4191 and when they had slain H6912 him, they buried H3588 him: Because, H559 said H1121 they, he is the son H3092 of Jehoshaphat, H834 who H1875 sought H3068 the LORD H3605 with all H3824 his heart. 11 H3090 But Jehoshabeath, H4428 the daughter of the king, H3947 took H3101 Joash H1121 the son H274 of Ahaziah, H1589 and stole H8432 him from among H4428 the king’s H1121 sons H4191 that were slain, H5414 and put H3243 him and his nurse H2315 in a bedchamber. H4296 H3090 So Jehoshabeath, H1323 the daughter H4428 of king H3088 Jehoram, H802 the wife H3111 of Jehoiada H3548 the priest, H269 (for she was the sister H274 of Ahaziah, H5641 ) hid H6271 him from Athaliah, H4191 so that she slew him not.

12 H2244 And he was with them hid H1004 in the house H430 of God H8337 six H8141 years: H6271 and Athaliah H4427 reigned H5921 over H776 the land.
