2 Chronicles 9 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bore spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

1 H4436 And when the queen H7614 of Sheba H8085 heard H8088 of the fame H8010 of Solomon, H935 she came H5254 to prove H8010 Solomon H2420 with hard H2420 questions H3389 at Jerusalem, H3966 with a very H3515 great H2428 company, H1581 and camels H5375 that bore H1314 spices, H2091 and gold H7230 in abundance, H3368 and precious H68 stones: H935 and when she was come H8010 to Solomon, H1696 she communed H3605 with him of all H3824 that was in her heart.

2 H8010 And Solomon H5046 told H3605 her all H1697 her questions: H3808 and there was nothing H1697 H5956 hid H8010 from Solomon H834 which H5046 he told her not.

3 H4436 And when the queen H7614 of Sheba H7200 had seen H2451 the wisdom H8010 of Solomon, H1004 and the house H1129 that he had built,

4 H3978 And the meat H7979 of his table, H4186 and the sitting H5650 of his servants, H4612 and the attendance H8334 of his ministers, H4403 and their apparel; H4945 his cupbearers H4403 also, and their apparel; H5944 and his ascent H834 by which H5927 he went H1004 up into the house H3068 of the LORD; H3808 there was no H5750 more H7307 spirit in her.

5 H559 And she said H4428 to the king, H571 It was a true H1697 report H834 which H8085 I heard H776 in my own land H1697 of your acts, H2451 and of your wisdom:

6 H539 However, I believed H1697 not their words, H5704 until H935 I came, H5869 and my eyes H7200 had seen H2009 it: and, behold, H2677 the one half H4768 of the greatness H2451 of your wisdom H5046 was not told H3254 me: for you exceed H8052 the fame H8085 that I heard.

7 H835 Happy H582 are your men, H835 and happy H428 are these H5650 your servants, H5975 which stand H8548 continually H6440 before H8085 you, and hear H2451 your wisdom.

8 H1288 Blessed H3068 be the LORD H430 your God, H834 which H2654 delighted H5414 in you to set H5921 you on H3678 his throne, H4428 to be king H3068 for the LORD H430 your God: H430 because your God H160 loved H3478 Israel, H5975 to establish H5769 them for ever, H5414 therefore made H4428 he you king H5921 over H6213 them, to do H4941 judgment H6666 and justice.

9 H5414 And she gave H4428 the king H3967 an hundred H6242 and twenty H3603 talents H2091 of gold, H1314 and of spices H3966 great H7230 abundance, H3368 and precious H68 stones: H3808 neither H1932 was there any such H1314 spice H4436 as the queen H7614 of Sheba H5414 gave H4428 king H8010 Solomon.

10 H5650 And the servants H1571 also H2438 of Huram, H5650 and the servants H8010 of Solomon, H834 which H935 brought H2091 gold H211 from Ophir, H935 brought H418 algum H6086 trees H3368 and precious H68 stones.

11 H4428 And the king H6213 made H418 of the algum H6086 trees H4546 terraces H1004 to the house H3068 of the LORD, H4428 and to the king’s H1004 palace, H3658 and harps H5035 and psalteries H7891 for singers: H3808 and there were none H1992 such H7200 seen H6440 before H776 in the land H3063 of Judah.

12 H4428 And king H8010 Solomon H5414 gave H4436 to the queen H7614 of Sheba H3605 all H2656 her desire, H3605 whatever H7592 she asked, H905 beside H834 that which H935 she had brought H4428 to the king. H2015 So she turned, H3212 and went H776 away to her own land, H5650 she and her servants.

13 H4948 Now the weight H2091 of gold H935 that came H8010 to Solomon H259 in one H8141 year H8337 was six H3967 hundred H8346 and three score H8337 and six H3603 talents H2091 of gold;

14 H905 Beside H582 that which chapmen H8446 H5503 and merchants H935 brought. H3605 And all H4428 the kings H6152 of Arabia H6346 and governors H776 of the country H935 brought H2091 gold H3701 and silver H8010 to Solomon.

15 H4428 And king H8010 Solomon H6213 made H3967 two hundred H6793 targets H7820 of beaten H2091 gold: H8337 six H3967 hundred H7820 shekels of beaten H2091 gold H5927 went H259 to one H6793 target.

16 H7969 And three H3967 hundred H4043 shields H7820 made he of beaten H2091 gold: H7969 three H3967 hundred H2091 shekels of gold H5927 went H259 to one H4043 shield. H4428 And the king H5414 put H1004 them in the house H3293 of the forest H3844 of Lebanon.

17 H4428 Moreover the king H6213 made H1419 a great H3678 throne H8127 of ivory, H6823 and overlaid H2889 it with pure H2091 gold.

18 H8337 And there were six H4609 steps H3678 to the throne, H3534 with a footstool H2091 of gold, H270 which were fastened H3678 to the throne, H3027 and stays H3427 on each side of the sitting H4725 place, H8147 and two H738 lions H5975 standing H3027 by the stays:

19 H8147 And twelve H6240 H738 lions H5975 stood H8033 there H2088 on the one side and on the other H8337 on the six H4609 steps. H3651 There was not the like H6213 made H3605 in any H4467 kingdom.

20 H3605 And all H4945 the drinking H3627 vessels H4428 of king H8010 Solomon H2091 were of gold, H3605 and all H3627 the vessels H1004 of the house H3293 of the forest H3844 of Lebanon H5462 were of pure H2091 gold: H369 none H3701 were of silver; H3972 it was not any H2803 thing accounted H3117 of in the days H8010 of Solomon.

21 H4428 For the king’s H591 ships H1980 went H8659 to Tarshish H5650 with the servants H2438 of Huram: H7969 every three H8141 years H259 once H935 came H591 the ships H8659 of Tarshish H5375 bringing H2091 gold, H3701 and silver, H8143 ivory, H6971 and apes, H8500 and peacocks.

22 H4428 And king H8010 Solomon H1431 passed H3605 all H4428 the kings H776 of the earth H6239 in riches H2451 and wisdom.

23 H3605 And all H4428 the kings H776 of the earth H1245 sought H6440 the presence H8010 of Solomon, H8085 to hear H2451 his wisdom, H430 that God H5414 had put H3820 in his heart.

24 H935 And they brought H376 every man H4503 his present, H3627 vessels H3701 of silver, H3627 and vessels H2091 of gold, H8008 and raiment, H5402 harness, H1314 and spices, H5483 horses, H6505 and mules, H1697 a rate H8141 year H8141 by year.

25 H8010 And Solomon H1961 had H702 four H7239 thousand H505 H723 stalls H5483 for horses H4818 and chariots, H8147 and twelve H6240 H7239 thousand H505 H6571 horsemen; H3240 whom he bestowed H7393 in the chariot H5892 cities, H4428 and with the king H3389 at Jerusalem.

26 H4910 And he reigned H3605 over all H4428 the kings H5104 from the river H776 even to the land H6430 of the Philistines, H1366 and to the border H4714 of Egypt.

27 H4428 And the king H5414 made H3701 silver H3389 in Jerusalem H68 as stones, H730 and cedar H5414 trees made H8256 he as the sycomore H8219 trees that are in the low H8219 plains H7230 in abundance.

28 H3318 And they brought H8010 to Solomon H5483 horses H4714 out of Egypt, H3605 and out of all H776 lands.

29 H7605 Now the rest H1697 of the acts H8010 of Solomon, H7223 first H314 and last, H3789 are they not written H1697 in the book H5416 of Nathan H5030 the prophet, H5016 and in the prophecy H281 of Ahijah H7888 the Shilonite, H2378 and in the visions H3260 of Iddo H2374 the seer H5921 against H3379 Jeroboam H1121 the son H5028 of Nebat?

30 H8010 And Solomon H4427 reigned H3389 in Jerusalem H5921 over H3605 all H3478 Israel H705 forty H8141 years.

31 H8010 And Solomon H7901 slept H1 with his fathers, H6912 and he was buried H5892 in the city H1732 of David H25 his father: H7346 and Rehoboam H1121 his son H4427 reigned H8478 in his stead.
