Jeremiah 44:15-19 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelled in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

16 H1697 As for the word H1696 that you have spoken H8034 to us in the name H3068 of the LORD, H8085 we will not listen to you.

17 H6213 But we will certainly do H853 whatever H3605 H1697 thing H3318 goes H3318 forth H6310 out of our own mouth, H6999 to burn H6999 incense H4446 to the queen H8064 of heaven, H5258 and to pour H5262 out drink H6213 offerings to her, as we have done, H1 we, and our fathers, H4428 our kings, H8269 and our princes, H5892 in the cities H3063 of Judah, H2351 and in the streets H3389 of Jerusalem: H1961 for then had H7646 we plenty H3899 of victuals, H2896 and were well, H7200 and saw H3808 no H7451 evil.

18 H4480 But since H227 H2308 we left H6999 off to burn H6999 incense H4446 to the queen H8064 of heaven, H5258 and to pour H5262 out drink H2637 offerings to her, we have wanted H3605 all H8552 things, and have been consumed H2719 by the sword H7458 and by the famine.

19 H3588 And when H6999 we burned H6999 incense H4446 to the queen H8064 of heaven, H5258 and poured H5262 out drink H6213 offerings to her, did we make H3561 her cakes H6087 to worship H5258 her, and pour H5262 out drink H1107 offerings to her, without H582 our men?
