Numbers 35:15-28 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that kills any person unawares may flee thither.

15 H428 These H8337 six H5892 cities H4733 shall be a refuge, H1121 both for the children H3478 of Israel, H1616 and for the stranger, H8453 and for the sojourner H8432 among H3605 them: that every H5221 one that kills H5315 any person H7684 unawares H5127 may flee H8033 thither.

16 H518 And if H5221 he smite H3627 him with an instrument H1270 of iron, H4191 so that he die, H7523 he is a murderer: H7523 the murderer H4191 shall surely be put to death.

17 H518 And if H5221 he smite H3027 him with throwing H68 a stone, H834 with which H4191 he may die, H4191 and he die, H7523 he is a murderer: H7523 the murderer H4191 shall surely be put to death.

18 H176 Or H518 if H5221 he smite H3027 him with an hand H3627 weapon H6086 of wood, H834 with which H4191 he may die, H4191 and he die, H7523 he is a murderer: H7523 the murderer H4191 shall surely be put to death.

19 H1350 The revenger H1818 of blood H1931 himself H4191 shall slay H7523 the murderer: H6293 when he meets H4191 him, he shall slay him.

20 H518 But if H1920 he thrust H8135 him of hatred, H176 or H7993 hurl H6660 at him by laying of wait, H4191 that he die;

21 H176 Or H342 in enmity H5221 smite H3027 him with his hand, H4191 that he die: H5221 he that smote H4191 him shall surely be put to death; H7523 for he is a murderer: H1350 the revenger H1818 of blood H4191 shall slay H7523 the murderer, H6293 when he meets him.

22 H518 But if H1920 he thrust H6621 him suddenly H3808 without H176 enmity, or H7993 have cast H3605 on him any H3627 thing H3808 without H6660 laying of wait,

23 H176 Or H3605 with any H68 stone, H834 with which H4191 a man may die, H7200 seeing H5307 him not, and cast H4191 it on him, that he die, H341 and was not his enemy, H3808 neither H1245 sought H7451 his harm:

24 H5712 Then the congregation H8199 shall judge H996 between H5221 the slayer H1350 and the revenger H1818 of blood H5921 according H428 to these H4941 judgments:

25 H5712 And the congregation H5337 shall deliver H7523 the slayer H3027 out of the hand H1350 of the revenger H1818 of blood, H5712 and the congregation H7725 shall restore H5892 him to the city H4733 of his refuge, H834 where H8033 H5127 he was fled: H3427 and he shall abide H4194 in it to the death H1419 of the high H3548 priest, H834 which H4886 was anointed H6944 with the holy H8081 oil.

26 H518 But if H7523 the slayer H3318 shall at any time come H1366 without the border H5892 of the city H4733 of his refuge, H834 where H8033 H5127 he was fled;

27 H1350 And the revenger H1818 of blood H4672 find H2351 him without H1366 the borders H5892 of the city H4733 of his refuge, H1350 and the revenger H1818 of blood H7523 kill H7523 the slayer; H1818 he shall not be guilty of blood:

28 H3588 Because H3427 he should have remained H5892 in the city H4733 of his refuge H5704 until H4194 the death H1419 of the high H3548 priest: H310 but after H4194 the death H1419 of the high H3548 priest H7523 the slayer H7725 shall return H413 into H776 the land H272 of his possession.
