Jeremiah 27:1-22 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,

1 H7225 In the beginning H4467 of the reign H3079 of Jehoiakim H1121 the son H2977 of Josiah, H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H1697 came this word H3414 unto Jeremiah H3068 from Jehovah, H559 saying,

2 H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah H6213 to me: Make H4147 thee bonds H4133 and bars, H5414 and put H6677 them upon thy neck;

3 H7971 and send H4428 them to the king H123 of Edom, H4428 and to the king H4124 of Moab, H4428 and to the king H1121 of the children of Ammon, H4428 and to the king H6865 of Tyre, H4428 and to the king H6721 of Sidon, H3027 by the hand H4397 of the messengers H935 that come H3389 to Jerusalem H6667 unto Zedekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah;

4 H6680 and give them a charge H113 unto their masters, H559 saying, H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H430 the God H3478 of Israel, H559 Thus shall ye say H113 unto your masters:

5 H6213 I have made H776 the earth, H120 the men H929 and the beasts H6440 that are upon H776 the face of the earth, H1419 by my great H3581 power H5186 and by my outstretched H2220 arm; H5414 and I give H5869 it unto whom it seemeth H3474 right unto me.

6 H5414 And now have I given H776 all these lands H3027 into the hand H5019 of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 the king H894 of Babylon, H5650 my servant; H2416 and the beasts H7704 of the field H5414 also have I given H5647 him to serve him.

7 H1471 And all the nations H5647 shall serve H1121 him, and his son, H1121 and his son's H1121 son, H6256 until the time H776 of his own land H935 come: H7227 and then many H1471 nations H1419 and great H4428 kings H5647 shall make him their bondman.

8 H1471 And it shall come to pass, that the nation H4467 and the kingdom H5647 which will not serve H5019 the same Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon, H5414 and that will not put H6677 their neck H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon, H1471 that nation H6485 will I punish, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah, H2719 with the sword, H7458 and with the famine, H1698 and with the pestilence, H8552 until I have consumed H3027 them by his hand.

9 H8085 But as for you, hearken H5030 ye not to your prophets, H7080 nor to your diviners, H2472 nor to your dreams, H6049 nor to your soothsayers, H3786 nor to your sorcerers, H559 that speak H559 unto you, saying, H5647 Ye shall not serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon:

10 H5012 for they prophesy H8267 a lie H7368 unto you, to remove you far H127 from your land, H5080 and that I should drive you out, H6 and ye should perish.

11 H1471 But the nation H935 that shall bring H6677 their neck H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon, H5647 and serve H3240 him, that nation will I let remain H127 in their own land, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah; H5647 and they shall till H3427 it, and dwell therein.

12 H1696 And I spake H6667 to Zedekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah H1697 according to all these words, H559 saying, H935 Bring H6677 your necks H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon, H5647 and serve H5971 him and his people, H2421 and live.

13 H4191 Why will ye die, H5971 thou and thy people, H2719 by the sword, H7458 by the famine, H1698 and by the pestilence, H3068 as Jehovah H1696 hath spoken H1471 concerning the nation H5647 that will not serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon?

14 H8085 And hearken H1697 not unto the words H5030 of the prophets H559 that speak H559 unto you, saying, H5647 Ye shall not serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon; H5012 for they prophesy H8267 a lie unto you.

15 H7971 For I have not sent H5002 them, saith H3068 Jehovah, H5012 but they prophesy H8267 falsely H8034 in my name; H5080 that I may drive you out, H6 and that ye may perish, H5030 ye, and the prophets H5012 that prophesy unto you.

16 H1696 Also I spake H3548 to the priests H5971 and to all this people, H559 saying, H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah: H8085 Hearken H1697 not to the words H5030 of your prophets H5012 that prophesy H559 unto you, saying, H3627 Behold, the vessels H3068 of Jehovah's H1004 house H4120 shall now shortly H7725 be brought again H894 from Babylon; H5012 for they prophesy H8267 a lie unto you.

17 H8085 Hearken H5647 not unto them; serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon, H2421 and live: H5892 wherefore should this city H2723 become a desolation?

18 H5030 But if they be prophets, H1697 and if the word H3068 of Jehovah H3426 be H6293 with them, let them now make intercession H3068 to Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H3627 that the vessels H3498 which are left H1004 in the house H3068 of Jehovah, H1004 and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah, H3389 and at Jerusalem, H935 go H894 not to Babylon.

19 H559 For thus saith H3068 Jehovah H6635 of hosts H5982 concerning the pillars, H3220 and concerning the sea, H4350 and concerning the bases, H3499 and concerning the residue H3627 of the vessels H3498 that are left H5892 in this city,

20 H5019 which Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H3947 took H1540 not, when he carried away captive H3204 Jeconiah H1121 the son H3079 of Jehoiakim, H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H3389 from Jerusalem H894 to Babylon, H2715 and all the nobles H3063 of Judah H3389 and Jerusalem;

21 H559 yea, thus saith H3068 Jehovah H6635 of hosts, H430 the God H3478 of Israel, H3627 concerning the vessels H3498 that are left H1004 in the house H3068 of Jehovah, H1004 and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah, H3389 and at Jerusalem:

22 H935 They shall be carried H894 to Babylon, H3117 and there shall they be, until the day H6485 that I visit H5002 them, saith H3068 Jehovah; H5927 then will I bring H7725 them up, and restore H4725 them to this place.
