Psalms 73

ASV_Strongs(i)
H430 A Psalm of Asaph.
Surely God
H2896 is good H3478 to Israel, H1249 Even to such as are pure H3824 in heart.
H7272 But as for me, my feet H4592 were almost H5186 gone; H838 My steps H369 had well nigh H8210 slipped.
H7065 For I was envious H1984 at the arrogant, H7200 When I saw H7965 the prosperity H7563 of the wicked.
H2784 For there are no pangs H4194 in their death; H193 But their strength H1277 is firm.
H5999 They are not in trouble H582 as other men; H5060 Neither are they plagued H5973 like H120 other men.
H1346 Therefore pride H6059 is as a chain H2555 about their neck; Violence H5848 covereth H7897 them as a garment.
H5869 Their eyes H3318 stand out H2459 with fatness: H5674 They have more H3824 than heart H4906 could wish.
H4167 They scoff, H7451 and in wickedness H1696 utter H6233 oppression: H1696 They speak H4791 loftily.
H8371 They have set H6310 their mouth H8064 in the heavens, H3956 And their tongue H1980 walketh H776 through the earth.
H5971 Therefore his people H7725 return H1988 hither: H4325 And waters H4392 of a full H4680 cup are drained by them.
H559 And they say, H410 How doth God H3045 know? H3426 And is there H1844 knowledge H5945 in the Most High?
H7563 Behold, these are the wicked; H5769 And, being alway H7961 at ease, H7685 they increase H2428 in riches.
H7385 Surely in vain H2135 have I cleansed H3824 my heart, H7364 And washed H3709 my hands H5356 in innocency;
H3117 For all the day H5060 long have I been plagued, H8433 And chastened H1242 every morning.
H559 If I had said, H559 I will speak H3644 thus; H898 Behold, I had dealt treacherously H1755 with the generation H1121 of thy children.
H2803 When I thought H3045 how I might know H5999 this, It was too painful H5869 for me;
H935 Until I went H4720 into the sanctuary H410 of God, H995 And considered H319 their latter end.
H7896 Surely thou settest H2513 them in slippery places: H5307 Thou castest them down H4876 to destruction.
H8047 How are they become a desolation H7281 in a moment! H5486 They are utterly H8552 consumed H1091 with terrors.
H2472 As a dream H6974 when one awaketh, H136 So, O Lord, H5782 when thou awakest, H959 thou wilt despise H6754 their image.
H3824 For my soul H2556 was grieved, H8150 And I was pricked H3629 in my heart:
H1198 So brutish H3045 was I, and ignorant; H929 I was as a beast before thee.
H8548 Nevertheless I am continually H270 with thee: Thou hast holden H3225 my right H3027 hand.
H5148 Thou wilt guide H6098 me with thy counsel, H310 And afterward H3947 receive H3519 me to glory.
H8064 Whom have I in heaven H776 but thee? And there is none upon earth H2654 that I desire besides thee.
H7607 My flesh H3824 and my heart H3615 faileth; H430 But God H6697 is the strength H3824 of my heart H2506 and my portion H5769 for ever.
H7369 For, lo, they that are far H6 from thee shall perish: H6789 Thou hast destroyed H2181 all them that play the harlot, departing from thee.
H589 But H2896 it is good H7132 for me to draw near H430 unto God: H7896 I have made H136 the Lord H136 Jehovah H4268 my refuge, H5608 That I may tell H4399 of all thy works.
