AUV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁴ “But I have a few things against you because you have people there [in the church] who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumblingblock in front of the Israelites, [causing them] to eat food sacrificed to idols and to be sexually immoral [See Num. 23-24]. ¹⁵ And in the same way, you also have some people [there] who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans [See verse 6]. ¹⁶ So, repent, or I will come to you quickly and will attack those people with the sword of my mouth.
