1. place in hill-country of Judah Gen 38:12; Gen 38:13; Gen 38:14. probably = Josh 15:57. Site unknown (compare Di^{Gen 38:12} Rob^{BR ii. 17 n}.).

2. place on border of Judah Josh 15:10; Josh 19:43 (assigned to Dan), Judg 14:1 (twice in verse); Judg 14:2; Judg 14:5 (twice in verse); 2Chr 28:18. Modern Tibneh, approximately 15 miles south of west from Jerusalem compare Rob^{BR ii.17} Buhl^{Geogr. 196}.
