1 John 5:20 οἴδαμεν (We know) δὲ (now) ὅτι (that) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἥκει (is come), καὶ (and) δέδωκεν (has given) ἡμῖν (us) διάνοιαν (understanding), ἵνα (so that) γινώσκωμεν* (we may know) τὸν (Him who is) ἀληθινόν (true); καὶ (and) ἐσμὲν (we are) ἐν (in) τῷ (Him who is) ἀληθινῷ (true), ἐν (in) τῷ (the) Υἱῷ (Son) αὐτοῦ (of Him), Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) Χριστῷ (Christ). οὗτός (He) ἐστιν (is) ὁ (the) ἀληθινὸς (true) Θεὸς (God) καὶ (and) ζωὴ (life) αἰώνιος (eternal).
