13 Ἐλθὼν (Having come) δὲ (then) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἰς (into) τὰ (the) μέρη (district) Καισαρείας (of Caesarea) τῆς (-) Φιλίππου (Philippi), ἠρώτα (He was questioning) τοὺς (the) μαθητὰς (disciples) αὐτοῦ (of Him), λέγων (saying), “Τίνα (Whom) λέγουσιν (do pronounce) οἱ (-) ἄνθρωποι (men) εἶναι (to be) τὸν (the) Υἱὸν (Son) τοῦ (of) ἀνθρώπου (man)?”
14 Οἱ (-) δὲ (And) εἶπαν (they said), “Οἱ (Some) μὲν (indeed) Ἰωάννην (John) τὸν (the) Βαπτιστήν (Baptist); ἄλλοι (others) δὲ (now) Ἠλίαν (Elijah); ἕτεροι (others) δὲ (now) Ἰερεμίαν (Jeremiah), ἢ (or) ἕνα (one) τῶν (of the) προφητῶν (prophets).”
