1 Kings 18:27-40 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or perhaps he sleeps, and must be awaked.

28 H7121 And they cried H6963 aloud, H1413 and cut H4941 themselves after their manner H2719 with knives H7420 and lancets, H1818 until the blood H8210 gushed out upon them.

29 H6672 And it came to pass, when midday H5674 was past, H5012 and they prophesied H5927 until the time of the offering H4503 of the evening sacrifice, H6963 that there was neither voice, H6030 nor any to answer, H7182 nor any that regarded.

30 H452 And Elijah H559 said H5971 unto all the people, H5066 Come near H5971 unto me. And all the people H5066 came near H7495 unto him. And he repaired H4196 the altar H3068 of the Lord H2040 that was broken down.

31 H452 And Elijah H3947 took H8147 twelve H68 stones, H4557 according to the number H7626 of the tribes H1121 of the sons H3290 of Jacob, H1697 unto whom the word H3068 of the Lord H559 came, saying, H3478 Israel H8034 shall be your name:

32 H68 And with the stones H1129 he built H4196 an altar H8034 in the name H3068 of the Lord: H6213 and he made H8585 a trench H5439 about H4196 the altar, H1004 as great as would contain H5429 two measures H2233 of seed.

33 H6186 And he put H6086 the wood H6186 in order, H5408 and cut H6499 the bullock H7760 in pieces, and laid H6086 him on the wood, H559 and said, H4390 Fill H702 four H3537 barrels H4325 with water, H3332 and pour H5930 it on the burnt sacrifice, H6086 and on the wood.

34 H559 And he said, H8138 Do it the second time. H8138 And they did it the second time. H559 And he said, H8027 Do it the third time. H8027 And they did it the third time.

35 H4325 And the water H3212 ran H5439 round about H4196 the altar; H4390 and he filled H8585 the trench H4325 also with water.

36 H5927 And it came to pass at the time of the offering H4503 of the evening sacrifice, H452 that Elijah H5030 the prophet H5066 came near, H559 and said, H3068 Lord H430 God H85 of Abraham, H3327 Isaac, H3478 and of Israel, H3045 let it be known H3117 this day H430 that you are God H3478 in Israel, H5650 and that I am your servant, H6213 and that I have done H1697 all these things at your word.

37 H6030 Hear H3068 me, O Lord, H6030 hear H5971 me, that this people H3045 may know H3068 that you are the Lord H430 God, H5437 and that you have turned H3820 their heart H5437 back H322 again.

38 H784 Then the fire H3068 of the Lord H5307 fell, H398 and consumed H5930 the burnt sacrifice, H6086 and the wood, H68 and the stones, H6083 and the dust, H3897 and licked up H4325 the water H8585 that was in the trench.

39 H5971 And when all the people H7200 saw H5307 it, they fell H6440 on their faces: H559 and they said, H3068 The Lord, H430 he is the God; H3068 the Lord, H430 he is the God.

40 H452 And Elijah H559 said H8610 unto them, Take H5030 the prophets H1168 of Baal; H376 let not one H4422 of them escape. H8610 And they took H452 them: and Elijah H3381 brought them down H5158 to the brook H7028 Kishon, H7819 and killed them there.
