2 Chronicles 28:5-15 Therefore the Lord his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they struck him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who struck him with a great slaughter.

6 H6492 For Pekah H1121 the son H7425 of Remaliah H2026 killed H3063 in Judah H3967 an hundred H6242 and twenty H505 thousand H259 in one H3117 day, H2428 which were all valiant H1121 men; H5800 because they had forsaken H3068 the Lord H430 God H1 of their fathers.

7 H2147 And Zichri, H1368 a mighty man H669 of Ephraim, H2026 killed H4641 Maaseiah H4428 the king's H1121 son, H5840 and Azrikam H5057 the governor H1004 of the house, H511 and Elkanah H4932 that was next H4428 to the king.

8 H1121 And the sons H3478 of Israel H7617 carried away captive H251 of their brothers H3967 two hundred H505 thousand, H802 women, H1121 sons, H1323 and daughters, H962 and took also away H7227 much H7998 plunder H935 from them, and brought H7998 the plunder H8111 to Samaria.

9 H5030 But a prophet H3068 of the Lord H8034 was there, whose name H5752 was Oded: H3318 and he went out H6440 before H6635 the army H935 that came H8111 to Samaria, H559 and said H3068 unto them, Behold, because the Lord H430 God H1 of your fathers H2534 was angry H3063 with Judah, H5414 he has delivered H3027 them into your hand, H2026 and you have slain H2197 them in a rage H5060 that reaches up H8064 unto heaven.

10 H559 And now you purpose H3533 to keep under H1121 the sons H3063 of Judah H3389 and Jerusalem H5650 for bondmen H8198 and bondwomen H7535 unto you: but are there not with you, even H819 with you, sins H3068 against the Lord H430 your God?

11 H8085 Now hear H7725 me therefore, and deliver H7633 the captives H7617 again, which you have taken captive H251 of your brothers: H2740 for the fierce H639 wrath H3068 of the Lord is upon you.

12 H582 Then certain H7218 of the heads H1121 of the sons H669 of Ephraim, H5838 Azariah H1121 the son H3076 of Johanan, H1296 Berechiah H1121 the son H4919 of Meshillemoth, H3169 and Jehizkiah H1121 the son H7967 of Shallum, H6021 and Amasa H1121 the son H2311 of Hadlai, H6965 stood up H935 against them that came H6635 from the war,

13 H559 And said H935 unto them, You shall not bring in H7633 the captives H819 here: for whereas we have offended H3068 against the Lord H559 already, you intend H3254 to add H2403 more to our sins H819 and to our trespass: H819 for our trespass H7227 is great, H2740 and there is fierce H639 wrath H3478 against Israel.

14 H2502 So the armed men H5800 left H7633 the captives H961 and the plunder H6440 before H8269 the princes H6951 and all the congregation.
