2 Chronicles 5 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

2 H8010 Then Solomon H6950 assembled H2205 the elders H3478 of Israel, H7218 and all the heads H4294 of the tribes, H5387 the chief H1 of the fathers H1121 of the sons H3478 of Israel, H3389 unto Jerusalem, H5927 to bring up H727 the ark H1285 of the covenant H3068 of the Lord H5892 out of the city H1732 of David, H6726 which is Zion.

3 H376 Why all the men H3478 of Israel H6950 assembled H4428 themselves unto the king H2282 in the feast H7637 which was in the seventh H2320 month.

4 H2205 And all the elders H3478 of Israel H935 came; H3881 and the Levites H5375 took up H727 the ark.

5 H5927 And they brought up H727 the ark, H168 and the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation, H6944 and all the holy H3627 vessels H168 that were in the tabernacle, H3548 these did the priests H3881 and the Levites H5927 bring up.

6 H4428 Also king H8010 Solomon, H5712 and all the congregation H3478 of Israel H3259 that were assembled H6440 unto him before H727 the ark, H2076 sacrificed H6629 sheep H1241 and oxen, H5608 which could not be told H4487 nor numbered H7230 for multitude.

7 H3548 And the priests H935 brought in H727 the ark H1285 of the covenant H3068 of the Lord H4725 unto his place, H1687 to the oracle H1004 of the house, H6944 into the most H6944 holy H3671 place, even under the wings H3742 of the cherubims:

8 H3742 For the cherubims H6566 spread forth H3671 their wings H4725 over the place H727 of the ark, H3742 and the cherubims H3680 covered H727 the ark H905 and the poles H4605 there above.

9 H748 And they drew out H905 the poles H7218 of the ark, that the ends H905 of the poles H7200 were seen H727 from the ark H6440 before H1687 the oracle; H7200 but they were not seen H2351 outside. H3117 And there it is unto this day.

10 H727 There was nothing in the ark H8147 except the two H3871 tablets H4872 which Moses H5414 put H2722 in it at Horeb, H3068 when the Lord H3772 made H1121 a covenant with the sons H3478 of Israel, H3318 when they came out H4714 of Egypt.

11 H3548 And it came to pass, when the priests H3318 were come out H6944 of the holy H3548 place: (for all the priests H4672 that were present H6942 were sanctified, H8104 and did not then wait H4256 by course:

12 H3881 Also the Levites H7891 which were the singers, H623 all of them of Asaph, H1968 of Heman, H3038 of Jeduthun, H1121 with their sons H251 and their brothers, H3847 being arrayed H948 in white linen, H4700 having cymbals H5035 and psalteries H3658 and harps, H5975 stood H4217 at the east end H4196 of the altar, H3967 and with them a hundred H6242 and twenty H3548 priests H2690 sounding H2689 with trumpets:)

13 H2690 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters H7891 and singers H259 were as one, H259 to make one H6963 sound H8085 to be heard H1984 in praising H3034 and thanking H3068 the Lord; H7311 and when they lifted up H6963 their voice H2689 with the trumpets H4700 and cymbals H3627 and instruments H7892 of music, H1984 and praised H3068 the Lord, H2896 saying, For he is good; H2617 for his mercy H5769 endures for ever: H1004 that then the house H4390 was filled H6051 with a cloud, H1004 even the house H3068 of the Lord;

14 H3548 So that the priests H3201 could H5975 not stand H8334 to minister H6440 by reason H6051 of the cloud: H3519 for the glory H3068 of the Lord H4390 had filled H1004 the house H430 of God.
