Deuteronomy 12 These are the statutes and judgments, which you shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of your fathers gives you to possess it, all the days that you live upon the earth.

1 H2706 These are the statutes H4941 and judgments, H8104 which you shall observe H6213 to do H776 in the land, H3068 which the Lord H430 God H1 of your fathers H5414 gives H3423 you to possess H3117 it, all the days H2416 that you live H127 upon the earth.

2 H6 You shall utterly H6 destroy H4725 all the places, H1471 where the nations H834 which H3423 you shall possess H5647 served H430 their gods, H7311 upon the high H2022 mountains, H1389 and upon the hills, H7488 and under every green H6086 tree:

3 H5422 And you shall overthrow H4196 their altars, H7665 and break H4676 their pillars, H8313 and burn H842 their groves H784 with fire; H1438 and you shall hew down H6456 the engraved images H430 of their gods, H6 and destroy H8034 the names H4725 of them out of that place.

4 H6213 You shall not do so H3068 unto the Lord H430 your God.

5 H4725 But unto the place H3068 which the Lord H430 your God H977 shall choose H7626 out of all your tribes H7760 to put H8034 his name H7933 there, even unto his habitation H1875 shall you seek, H935 and there you shall come:

6 H935 And there you shall bring H5930 your burnt offerings, H2077 and your sacrifices, H4643 and your tithes, H8641 and heave offerings H3027 of your hand, H5088 and your vows, H5071 and your freewill offerings, H1062 and the firstborn H1241 of your herds H6629 and of your flocks:

7 H398 And there you shall eat H6440 before H3068 the Lord H430 your God, H8055 and you shall rejoice H4916 in all that you put H3027 your hand H1004 unto, you and your households, H3068 where the Lord H430 your God H1288 has blessed you.

8 H6213 You shall not do H6213 after all the things that we do H3117 here this day, H376 every man H3477 whatever is right H5869 in his own eyes.

9 H935 For you are not as yet come H4496 to the rest H5159 and to the inheritance, H3068 which the Lord H430 your God H5414 gives you.

10 H5674 But when you go over H3383 Jordan, H3427 and live H776 in the land H3068 which the Lord H430 your God H5157 gives you to inherit, H5117 and when he gives you rest H341 from all your enemies H5439 round about, H3427 so that you live H983 in safety;

11 H4725 Then there shall be a place H3068 which the Lord H430 your God H977 shall choose H8034 to cause his name H7931 to live H935 there; there shall you bring H6680 all that I command H5930 you; your burnt offerings, H2077 and your sacrifices, H4643 your tithes, H8641 and the heave offering H3027 of your hand, H4005 and all your choice H5088 vows H5087 which you vow H3068 unto the Lord:

12 H8055 And you shall rejoice H6440 before H3068 the Lord H430 your God, H1121 you, and your sons, H1323 and your daughters, H5650 and your menservants, H519 and your maidservants, H3881 and the Levite H8179 that is inside your gates; H3588 forasmuch H2506 as he has no part H5159 nor inheritance with you.

13 H8104 Take care H5927 to yourself that you offer H5930 not your burnt offerings H4725 in every place H7200 that you see:

14 H4725 But in the place H3068 which the Lord H977 shall choose H259 in one H7626 of your tribes, H5927 there you shall offer H5930 your burnt offerings, H6213 and there you shall do H6680 all that I command you.

15 H2076 Nevertheless you may kill H398 and eat H1320 flesh H8179 in all your gates, H5315 whatever your soul H185 lusts after, H1293 according to the blessing H3068 of the Lord H430 your God H5414 which he has given H2931 you: the unclean H2889 and the clean H398 may eat H6643 there, as of the roebuck, H354 and as of the hart.

16 H398 Only you shall not eat H1818 the blood; H8210 you shall pour H776 it upon the earth H4325 as water.

17 H3201 You may H398 not eat H8179 inside your gates H4643 the tithe H1715 of your corn, H8492 or of your wine, H3323 or of your oil, H1062 or the firstborn H1241 of your herds H6629 or of your flock, H5088 nor any of your vows H5087 which you vow, H5071 nor your freewill offerings, H8641 or heave offering H3027 of your hand:

18 H398 But you must eat H6440 them before H3068 the Lord H430 your God H4725 in the place H3068 which the Lord H430 your God H977 shall choose, H1121 you, and your son, H1323 and your daughter, H5650 and your manservant, H519 and your maidservant, H3881 and the Levite H8179 that is inside your gates: H8055 and you shall rejoice H6440 before H3068 the Lord H430 your God H4916 in all that you set H3027 your hands unto.

19 H8104 Take care H5800 to yourself that you forsake H3881 not the Levite H3117 as long as you livest H127 upon the earth.

20 H3068 When the Lord H430 your God H7337 shall enlarge H1366 your border, H1696 as he has promised H559 you, and you shall say, H398 I will eat H1320 flesh, H5315 because your soul H183 longs H398 to eat H1320 flesh; H398 you may eat H1320 flesh, H5315 whatever your soul H185 lusts after.

21 H4725 If the place H3068 which the Lord H430 your God H977 has chosen H7760 to put H8034 his name H7368 there be too far H2076 from you, then you shall kill H1241 of your herd H6629 and of your flock, H3068 which the Lord H5414 has given H6680 you, as I have commanded H398 you, and you shall eat H8179 in your gates H5315 whatever your soul H185 lusts after.

22 H6643 Even as the roebuck H354 and the hart H398 is eaten, H398 so you shall eat H2931 them: the unclean H2889 and the clean H398 shall eat H3162 of them alike.

23 H2388 Only be sure H398 that you eat H1818 not the blood: H1818 for the blood H5315 is the life; H398 and you may not eat H5315 the life H1320 with the flesh.

24 H398 You shall not eat H8210 it; you shall pour H776 it upon the earth H4325 as water.

25 H398 You shall not eat H3190 it; that it may go well H1121 with you, and with your sons H310 after H6213 you, when you shall do H3477 that which is right H5869 in the sight H3068 of the Lord.

26 H6944 Only your holy things H5088 which you have, and your vows, H5375 you shall take, H935 and go H4725 unto the place H3068 which the Lord H977 shall choose:

27 H6213 And you shall offer H5930 your burnt offerings, H1320 the flesh H1818 and the blood, H4196 upon the altar H3068 of the Lord H430 your God: H1818 and the blood H2077 of your sacrifices H8210 shall be poured out H4196 upon the altar H3068 of the Lord H430 your God, H398 and you shall eat H1320 the flesh.

28 H8104 Observe H8085 and hear H1697 all these words H6680 which I command H3190 you, that it may go well H1121 with you, and with your sons H310 after H5704 you for H5769 ever, H6213 when you do H2896 that which is good H3477 and right H5869 in the sight H3068 of the Lord H430 your God.

29 H3068 When the Lord H430 your God H3772 shall cut off H1471 the nations H6440 from before H935 you, where you go H3423 to possess H3423 them, and you succeedest H3427 them, and dwell H776 in their land;

30 H8104 Take care H5367 to yourself that you be not ensnared H310 to follow H310 them, after H8045 that they be destroyed H6440 from before H1875 you; and that you inquire H430 not after their gods, H559 saying, H1471 How did these nations H5647 serve H430 their gods? H6213 even so will I do H1571 likewise.

31 H6213 You shall not do H3068 so unto the Lord H430 your God: H8441 for every abomination H3068 to the Lord, H8130 which he hates, H6213 have they done H430 unto their gods; H1121 for even their sons H1323 and their daughters H8313 they have burnt H784 in the fire H430 to their gods.

32 H1697 What thing H6680 soever I command H8104 you, observe H6213 to do H3254 it: you shall not add H1639 to it, nor take from it.
