THE FAME OF SHELOMOH
And so be it, at the end of twenty years, Shelomoh builds the house of Yah Veh and his own house; 2 and the cities Hiram gives to Shelomoh, Shelomoh builds them, and has the sons of Yisra El settle there. 3 And Shelomoh goes to Hamath Sobah and prevails against it: 4 and he builds Tadmor in the wilderness and builds all the storage cities in Hamath: 5 and he builds Beth Horon the upper and Beth Horon the nether - rampart cities with walls, doors and bars: 6 and Baalath and all the storage cities Shelomoh has and all the chariot cities and the cities of the cavalry and all that Shelomoh attaches to build in Yeru Shalem and in Lebanon and throughout all the land of his reign. 7 All the people who remain of the Hethiy and the Emoriy and the Perizziy and the Hivviy and the Yebusiy who are not of Yisra El 8 - of their sons who remain after them in the land whom the sons of Yisra El finished not off; Shelomoh ascends them - a vassal until this day. 9 And of the sons of Yisra El Shelomoh gives no servants for his work; but they are men of war and governors of his tertiaries and governors of his chariots and cavalry: 10 and these are the station prefects of the governor of sovereign Shelomoh - two hundred and fifty who subjugate over the people. 11 And Shelomoh ascends the daughter of Paroh from the city of David to the house he built for her: for he says, My woman settles not in the house of David sovereign of Yisra El because of the holies where the ark of Yah Veh has come. 12 Then Shelomoh holocausts holocausts to Yah Veh on the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh which he built at the face of the porch; 13 even after a day by day word; holocausting according to the misvah of Mosheh; on the shabbaths and on the new moons and on the seasons, three times in the year, even in the celebration of matsah and in the celebration of weeks and in the celebration of sukkoth/brush arbors. 14 And according to the judgment of David his father; he stands the allotments of the priests to their service; and the Leviym to their guards; to halal and minister in front of the priests as the day by day word: and the porters by their allotments, portal by portal: for thus is the misvah of David the man of Elohim. 15 And they turn not aside from the misvah of the sovereign regarding the priests and Leviym concerning any word, or the treasures: 16 and they prepare all the work of Shelomoh to the day of the foundation of the house of Yah Veh and until it is finished: the house of Yah Veh is at shalom. 17 Then Shelomoh goes to Esyon Geber and to Eloth, at the lip of the sea in the land of Edom: 18 and by the hands of his servants Hiram sends him ships and servants who know the sea; and they go with the servants of Shelomoh to Ophir; and there they take four hundred and fifty rounds of gold and bring them to sovereign Shelomoh.
