14 Then when the sovereign hears these utterances, he stinks much with himself, and sets his anxiety on Dani El to liberate him: and he labors until the downing of the sun to rescue him.
15 Then these mighty conspire to the sovereign and say to the sovereign, Know, O sovereign, the decree of the Maday and Persians - that any bond or edict the sovereign raises is not changed.

DANI EL IN THE DUGOUT
Then the sovereign says to bring Dani El; and they hurl him into the dugout of lions. The sovereign answers and says to Dani El, Your Elah, whom you serve perpetually, he liberates you. 17 And they bring one stone and set it on the mouth of the dugout; and the sovereign seals it with his own signet and with the signet of his nobles; that his will concerning Dani El not change. 18 Then the sovereign goes to his manse and lodges overnight fasting; and his instruments enter not in front of him and his sleep flees from him.
