Jeremiah 32

YIRME YAH SHUT UP
So be the word to Yirme Yah from Yah Veh in the tenth year of Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah - the year, the eighteenth year of Nebukadnets Tsar: 2 and then the valiant of the sovereign of Babel besiege Yeru Shalem: and shut Yirme Yah the prophet in the court of the target area, in the house of the sovereign of Yah Hudah: 3 where Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah shut him, saying, Why prophesy you, saying, Thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I give this city into the hand of the sovereign of Babel, to capture it? 4 And Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah escapes not from the hand of the Kesediym but in giving, is given into the hand of the sovereign of Babel; and words with him mouth to mouth and his eyes see his eyes; 5 and he carries Sidqi Yah to Babel and is there until I visit him - an oracle of Yah Veh though you fight with the Kesediym, you prosper not? 6
YIRME YAH CHATTELS A FIELD
And Yirme Yah says, So be the word of Yah Veh to me, saying, 7 Behold, Hanam El the son of Shallum your uncle comes to you, saying, Chattel my field in Anathoth: for the judgment of redemption is yours to chattel. 8 And Hanam El the son of my uncle comes to me in the court of the target area according to the word of Yah Veh; and says to me, Chattel, I beseech you, my field in Anathoth in the land of Ben Yamin: for the judgment of possession is yours; and the redemption is yours: chattel it for yourself: and I know this is the word of Yah Veh. 9 And I chattel the field of Hanam El the son of my uncle in Anathoth; and weigh him the silver - seventeen shekels of silver: 10 and I inscribe the scroll and seal; and witnesses witness and weigh him the silver in the balances: 11 and I take the sealed scroll of the chattel to the misvah and statute, with the exposed one: 12 and I give the scroll of the chattel to Baruch the son of Neri Yah the son of Machse Yah in the eyes of Hanam El the son of my uncle, and in the eyes of the witnesses who inscribe the scroll of the chattel in the eyes of all the Yah Hudiym who sit in the court of the target area. 13 And I misvah Baruch in their eyes, saying, 14 Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El: Take these scrolls, both this sealed scroll of the chattel, and this exposed scroll; and give them in a potsherd instrument to stand many days. 15 For thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El: Again houses and fields and vineyards are chatteled in this land. 16 After I give the scroll of the chattel to Baruch the son of Neri Yah, I pray to Yah Veh, saying, 17 Aha, Adonay Yah Veh! Behold, you worked the heavens and the earth by your great power and spread arm; and there is no word too marvellous for you: 18 you work mercy to thousands and shalam for the perversity of the fathers into the bosom of their sons after them. The Great! The Mighty El! Yah Veh Sabaoth is his name: 19 great in counsel and great in exploits: in that your eyes open on all the ways of the sons of humanity: to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his exploits: 20 who set signs and omens in the land of Misrayim to this day; and in Yisra El and among humanity; and worked a name, as this day; 21 and brought forth your people Yisra El from the land of Misrayim with signs and with omens; and with a strong hand and with a spread arm and with great awesomeness; 22 and give them this land which you oathed to their fathers to give them - a land flowing with milk and honey; 23 and they came in and possessed; and they neither hearkened to your voice, nor walked in your torah; nor worked all you misvahed them to work: so you confronted all this evil on them. 24 Behold the mounds, they come to the city to capture it - to give the city into the hand of the Kesediym who fight against it at the face of the sword and of the famine and of the pestilence: and what you worded, becomes; and behold, you see. 25 And Adonay Yah Veh, you said to me, Chattel you the field for silver, and have witnesses witness; for the city is given into the hand of the Kesediym. 26
THE RESPONSE OF YAH VEH
And so be the word of Yah Veh to Yirme Yah, saying, 27 Behold, I - Yah Veh, Elohim of all flesh! Is any word too marvellous for me? 28 So thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I give this city into the hand of the Kesediym, and into the hand of Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel; and he takes it: 29 and the Kesediym who fight against this city come and kindle fire on this city - and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they incensed to Baal and libated libations to other elohim, to vex me: 30 for the sons of Yisra El and the sons of Yah Hudah surely work evil in my eyes from their youth: for the sons of Yisra El surely vex me with the work of their hands - an oracle of Yah Veh. 31 And so be this city to me - a provocation of my wrath and of my fury from the day they built it even to this day; that I turn it aside from in front of my face, 32 because of all the evil the sons of Yisra El and the sons of Yah Hudah work to vex me - they, their sovereigns, their governors, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Yah Hudah, and the settlers of Yeru Shalem: 33 and they face their neck to me and not their face: though I taught them - starting early and teaching them, yet they hearken not to take discipline: 34 and they set their abominations in the house on which my name is called to foul it: 35 and they build the bamahs of Baal in Gay Ben Hinnom/Valley of the Son of Burning, to pass their sons and their daughters through to Molech - which I neither misvahed them nor ascended it into my heart that they work this abhorrence to have Yah Hudah sin. 36 And so now, thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El concerning this city of which you say, to give into the hand of the sovereign of Babel by the sword and by the famine and by the pestilence, 37 Behold, I gather them from all lands, where I drove them in my wrath and in my fury and in great rage; and I return them to this place: and have them settle confidently: 38 and they are my people, and I am their Elohim: 39 and I give them one heart and one way, so that they awe me all days, for the good of them and of their sons after them: 40 and I cut an eternal covenant with them to not turn away from after them to well-please them; and I give my fear in their hearts that they not turn aside from me. 41 Yes, I rejoice over them to do them good, and I plant them in this land in truth with my whole heart and with my whole soul. 42 For thus says Yah Veh: As I brought all this great evil on this people, thus I bring all the good I worded on them. 43 And chattel the fields in this land, whereof you said, Desolate! Without humanity or animal! - it is given into the hand of the Kesediym. 44 Men chattel fields for silver and inscribe scrolls and seal them; and witnesses witness in the land of Ben Yamin and all around Yeru Shalem and in the cities of Yah Hudah and in the cities of the mountains and in the cities of the lowland and in the cities of the south: and I restore their captivity - an oracle of Yah Veh.
