THE JUDGMENT OF BABEL
Thus says Yah Veh; Behold, I waken a ruinous wind/spirit against Babel and against them who settle in the heart of them - who rouse: 2 and I send strangers to Babel to winnow her and evacuate her land: for in the day of evil they are against her all around. 3 In bending, the bender neither bends his bow, nor ascends in his brigandine: spare not her youths; devote all her host. 4 Thus the pierced fall in the land of the Kesediym and the thrust through in her outways. 5 For neither is Yisra El abandoned nor Yah Hudah by his Elohim Yah Veh Sabaoth; though their land is filled with guilt against the Holy One of Yisra El. 6 Flee from midst Babel, and rescue every man his soul: be not severed in her perversity; for this is the time of the avengement of Yah Veh; in dealing shalom, he deals shalom to her. 7 In the hand of Yah Veh, Babel is a golden cup that intoxicates all the earth: the goyim drink of her wine and so the goyim halal. 8 Suddenly Babel falls and breaks: howl for her; take balm for her sorrow, if so be, she heals. 9 We heal Babel, and she heals not: forsake her; and go every man into his own land: for her judgment touches to the heavens, - lifts to the vapours. 10 Yah Veh brings forth our justness: come, and scribe in Siyon the work of Yah Veh our Elohim: 11 polish the arrows; fill the shields: Yah Veh wakens the spirit of the sovereigns of the Maday: for his intrigue is against Babel, to ruin therein; because it is the avengement of Yah Veh - the avengement of his manse. 12 Lift the ensign on the walls of Babel, strengthen the guard; raise the guards; prepare the lurks: for Yah Veh both intrigues and works what he speaks against the settlers of Babel. THE FORCE OF YAH VEH
He works the earth by his force; he establishes the world by his wisdom and spreads the heavens by his discernment: 16 he gives his voice, and there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he ascends the vapours from the ends of the earth: he works lightnings with rain and brings forth the wind from his treasures. 17 All humanity is brutish by his knowledge; every refiner shames by the sculptile: for his libation is falsehood and there is no spirit in them. 18 They are vanity - the work of frauds: in the time of their visitation they destruct. 19 The allotment of Yaaqov is not like them; for he is the former of all and the rod of his inheritance: Yah Veh Sabaoth is his name. 20 You are my disintegrator and instruments of war: and with you, I shatter the goyim; and with you, I ruin sovereigndoms; 21 and with you, I shatter the horse and his rider; and with you, I shatter the chariot and his rider; 22 and with you, I shatter man and woman; and with you, I shatter aged and lad; and with you, I shatter the youth and the virgin; 23 and I shatter the tender and his drove; and with you, I shatter the cultivator and his yoke; and with you, I shatter governors and prefects: 24 and I shalam to Babel and to all the settlers of Kesediym all the evil they worked in Siyon in your eyes - an oracle of Yah Veh. 25 Behold, I am against you, O mountain of ruin - an oracle of Yah Veh, who ruins all the earth: and I spread my hand on you and roll you down from the rocks; and give you as a burning mountain: 26 and they neither take of you a stone for a corner nor a stone for foundations; for you are desolated eternally - an oracle of Yah Veh.
