1 Samuel 30:17-26

  17 H5221 ויכם smote H1732 דוד And David H5399 מהנשׁף them from the twilight H5704 ועד even unto H6153 הערב the evening H4283 למחרתם of the next day: H3808 ולא not H4422 נמלט and there escaped H1992 מהם   H376 אישׁ a man H3588 כי of them, save H518 אם of them, save H702 ארבע four H3967 מאות hundred H376 אישׁ men, H5288 נער young H834 אשׁר which H7392 רכבו rode H5921 על upon H1581 הגמלים camels, H5127 וינסו׃ and fled.

  18 H5337 ויצל recovered H1732 דוד And David H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H3947 לקחו had carried away: H6002 עמלק the Amalekites H853 ואת   H8147 שׁתי his two H802 נשׁיו wives. H5337 הציל rescued H1732 דוד׃ and David

  19 H3808 ולא And there was nothing H5737 נעדר lacking H4480 להם מן to them, neither H6996 הקטן small H5704 ועד nor H1419 הגדול great, H5704 ועד neither H1121 בנים sons H1323 ובנות nor daughters, H7998 ומשׁלל neither spoil, H5704 ועד nor H3605 כל any H834 אשׁר that H3947 לקחו they had taken H3605 להם הכל all. H7725 השׁיב recovered H1732 דוד׃ to them: David

  20 H3947 ויקח took H1732 דוד And David H853 את   H3605 כל all H6629 הצאן the flocks H1241 והבקר and the herds, H5090 נהגו they drove H6440 לפני before H4735 המקנה cattle, H1931 ההוא those H559 ויאמרו and said, H2088 זה This H7998 שׁלל spoil. H1732 דוד׃ David's

  21 H935 ויבא came H1732 דוד And David H413 אל to H3967 מאתים the two hundred H376 האנשׁים men, H834 אשׁר which H6296 פגרו were so faint H1980 מלכת that they could not follow H310 אחרי that they could not follow H1732 דוד David, H3427 וישׁיבם whom they had made also to abide H5158 בנחל at the brook H1308 הבשׂור Besor: H3318 ויצאו and they went forth H7122 לקראת   H1732 דוד David, H7122 ולקראת   H5971 העם the people H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו with H5066 ויגשׁ came near H1732 דוד him: and when David H853 את   H5971 העם to the people, H7592 וישׁאל he saluted H7965 להם לשׁלום׃ he saluted

  22 H6030 ויען Then answered H3605 כל all H376 אישׁ men H7451 רע the wicked H1100 ובליעל and of Belial, H376 מהאנשׁים of those H834 אשׁר that H1980 הלכו went H5973 עם with H1732 דוד David, H559 ויאמרו and said, H3282 יען   H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא not H1980 הלכו they went H5973 עמי with H3808 לא us, we will not H5414 נתן give H7998 להם מהשׁלל them of the spoil H834 אשׁר   H5337 הצלנו we have recovered, H3588 כי save H518 אם save H376 אישׁ to every man H853 את   H802 אשׁתו his wife H853 ואת   H1121 בניו and his children, H5090 וינהגו that they may lead away, H1980 וילכו׃ and depart.

  23 H559 ויאמר Then said H1732 דוד David, H3808 לא Ye shall not H6213 תעשׂו do H3651 כן so, H251 אחי my brethren, H854 את with H834 אשׁר that which H5414 נתן hath given H3068 יהוה the LORD H8104 לנו וישׁמר us, who hath preserved H853 אתנו   H5414 ויתן us, and delivered H853 את   H1416 הגדוד the company H935 הבא that came H5921 עלינו against H3027 בידנו׃ us into our hand.

  24 H4310 ומי For who H8085 ישׁמע will hearken H1697 לכם לדבר matter? H2088 הזה unto you in this H3588 כי but H2506 כחלק as his part H3381 הירד that goeth down H4421 במלחמה to the battle, H2506 וכחלק so his part H3427 הישׁב that tarrieth H5921 על by H3627 הכלים the stuff: H3162 יחדו alike. H2505 יחלקו׃ they shall part

  25 H1961 ויהי And it was H3117 מהיום day. H1931 ההוא   H4605 ומעלה forward, H7760 וישׂמה that he made H2706 לחק it a statute H4941 ולמשׁפט and an ordinance H3478 לישׂראל for Israel H5704 עד unto H3117 היום   H2088 הזה׃ this

  26 H935 ויבא came H1732 דוד And when David H413 אל to H6860 צקלג Ziklag, H7971 וישׁלח he sent H7998 מהשׁלל of the spoil H2205 לזקני unto the elders H3063 יהודה of Judah, H7453 לרעהו to his friends, H559 לאמר saying, H2009 הנה Behold H1293 לכם ברכה a present H7998 משׁלל for you of the spoil H341 איבי of the enemies H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD;
