9 H6030 ויען answered H1732 דוד And David H853 את H7394 רכב Rechab H853 ואת H1196 בענה and Baanah H251 אחיו his brother, H1121 בני the sons H7417 רמון of Rimmon H886 הבארתי the Beerothite, H559 ויאמר and said H2416 להם חי liveth, H3068 יהוה unto them, the LORD H834 אשׁר who H6299 פדה hath redeemed H853 את H5315 נפשׁי my soul H3605 מכל out of all H6869 צרה׃ adversity,

10 H3588 כי When H5046 המגיד one told H559 לי לאמר me, saying, H2009 הנה Behold, H4191 מת is dead, H7586 שׁאול Saul H1931 והוא H1961 היה to have H1319 כמבשׂר brought good tidings, H5869 בעיניו thinking H270 ואחזה I took hold H2026 בו ואהרגהו of him, and slew H6860 בצקלג him in Ziklag, H834 אשׁר who H5414 לתתי that I would have given H1309 לו בשׂרה׃ him a reward for his tidings:

11 H637 אף How much more, H3588 כי when H376 אנשׁים men H7563 רשׁעים wicked H2026 הרגו have slain H853 את H376 אישׁ person H6662 צדיק a righteous H1004 בביתו in his own house H5921 על upon H4904 משׁכבו his bed? H6258 ועתה therefore now H3808 הלוא shall I not H1245 אבקשׁ require H853 את H1818 דמו his blood H3027 מידכם of your hand, H1197 ובערתי H853 אתכם H4480 מן of your hand, H776 הארץ׃ the earth?

12 H6680 ויצו commanded H1732 דוד And David H853 את H5288 הנערים his young men, H2026 ויהרגום and they slew H7112 ויקצצו them, and cut off H853 את H3027 ידיהם their hands H853 ואת H7272 רגליהם and their feet, H8518 ויתלו and hanged up H5921 על over H1295 הברכה the pool H2275 בחברון in Hebron. H853 ואת H7218 ראשׁ the head H378 אישׁ בשׁת of Ish-bosheth, H3947 לקחו But they took H6912 ויקברו and buried H6913 בקבר in the sepulcher H74 אבנר of Abner H2275 בחברון׃ in Hebron.
