Deuteronomy 24

  1 H3588 כי When H3947 יקח hath taken H376 אישׁ a man H802 אשׁה a wife, H1166 ובעלה and married H1961 והיה her, and it come to pass H518 אם that H3808 לא no H4672 תמצא she find H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניו in his eyes, H3588 כי because H4672 מצא he hath found H6172 בה ערות uncleanness H1697 דבר some H3789 וכתב in her: then let him write H5612 לה ספר her a bill H3748 כריתת of divorcement, H5414 ונתן and give H3027 בידה in her hand, H7971 ושׁלחה and send H1004 מביתו׃ her out of his house.
  2 H3318 ויצאה And when she is departed H1004 מביתו out of his house, H1980 והלכה she may go H1961 והיתה and be H376 לאישׁ man's H312 אחר׃ another
  3 H8130 ושׂנאה hate H376 האישׁ husband H314 האחרון And the latter H3789 וכתב her, and write H5612 לה ספר her a bill H3748 כריתת of divorcement, H5414 ונתן and giveth H3027 בידה in her hand, H7971 ושׁלחה and sendeth H1004 מביתו her out of his house; H176 או or H3588 כי if H4191 ימות die, H376 האישׁ husband H314 האחרון the latter H834 אשׁר which H3947 לקחה took H802 לו לאשׁה׃ her his wife;
  4 H3808 לא not H3201 יוכל may H1167 בעלה husband, H7223 הראשׁון Her former H834 אשׁר which H7971 שׁלחה sent her away, H7725 לשׁוב her again H3947 לקחתה take H1961 להיות to be H802 לו לאשׁה his wife, H310 אחרי after that H834 אשׁר after that H2930 הטמאה she is defiled; H3588 כי for H8441 תועבה abomination H1931 הוא that H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3808 ולא and thou shalt not H2398 תחטיא to sin, H853 את   H776 הארץ cause the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן giveth H5159 לך נחלה׃ thee an inheritance.
  5 H3588 כי When H3947 יקח hath taken H376 אישׁ a man H802 אשׁה wife, H2319 חדשׁה a new H3808 לא he shall not H3318 יצא go out H6635 בצבא to war, H3808 ולא neither H5674 יעבר shall he be charged H5921 עליו with H3605 לכל any H1697 דבר business: H5355 נקי free H1961 יהיה he shall be H1004 לביתו at home H8141 שׁנה year, H259 אחת one H8055 ושׂמח and shall cheer up H853 את   H802 אשׁתו his wife H834 אשׁר which H3947 לקח׃ he hath taken.
  6 H3808 לא No H2254 יחבל man shall take H7347 רחים the nether H7393 ורכב or the upper H3588 כי for H5315 נפשׁ life H1931 הוא he H2254 חבל׃ to pledge:
  7 H3588 כי If H4672 ימצא be found H376 אישׁ a man H1589 גנב stealing H5315 נפשׁ any H251 מאחיו of his brethren H1121 מבני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H6014 והתעמר and maketh merchandise H4376 בו ומכרו of him, or selleth H4191 ומת shall die; H1590 הגנב thief H1931 ההוא him; then that H1197 ובערת and thou shalt put evil away H7451 הרע and thou shalt put evil away H7130 מקרבך׃ from among
  8 H8104 השׁמר Take heed H5061 בנגע in the plague H6883 הצרעת of leprosy, H8104 לשׁמר that thou observe H3966 מאד diligently, H6213 ולעשׂות and do H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H3384 יורו shall teach H853 אתכם   H3548 הכהנים the priests H3881 הלוים the Levites H834 כאשׁר you: as H6680 צויתם I commanded H8104 תשׁמרו them, ye shall observe H6213 לעשׂות׃ to do.
  9 H2142 זכור Remember H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H6213 עשׂה did H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהיך thy God H4813 למרים unto Miriam H1870 בדרך by the way, H3318 בצאתכם after that ye were come forth H4714 ממצרים׃  
  10 H3588 כי When H5383 תשׁה thou dost lend H7453 ברעך thy brother H4859 משׁאת thing, H3972 מאומה any H3808 לא thou shalt not H935 תבא go H413 אל into H1004 ביתו his house H5670 לעבט to fetch H5667 עבטו׃ his pledge.
  11 H2351 בחוץ abroad, H5975 תעמד Thou shalt stand H376 והאישׁ and the man H834 אשׁר to whom H859 אתה thou H5383 נשׁה dost lend H3318 בו יוציא shall bring out H413 אליך unto H853 את   H5667 העבוט the pledge H2351 החוצה׃ abroad
  12 H518 ואם And if H376 אישׁ the man H6041 עני poor, H1931 הוא   H3808 לא thou shalt not H7901 תשׁכב sleep H5667 בעבטו׃ with his pledge:
  13 H7725 השׁב   H7725 תשׁיב   H853 לו את   H5667 העבוט him the pledge H935 כבוא goeth down, H8121 השׁמשׁ again when the sun H7901 ושׁכב that he may sleep H8008 בשׂלמתו in his own raiment, H1288 וברכך and bless H1961 ולך תהיה thee: and it shall be H6666 צדקה righteousness H6440 לפני unto thee before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God.
  14 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H6231 תעשׁק oppress H7916 שׂכיר a hired servant H6041 עני poor H34 ואביון and needy, H251 מאחיך of thy brethren, H176 או or H1616 מגרך of thy strangers H834 אשׁר that H776 בארצך in thy land H8179 בשׁעריך׃ within thy gates:
  15 H3117 ביומו At his day H5414 תתן thou shalt give H7939 שׂכרו his hire, H3808 ולא neither H935 תבוא go down H5921 עליו upon H8121 השׁמשׁ shall the sun H3588 כי it; for H6041 עני poor, H1931 הוא he H5921 ואליו against H1931 הוא   H5375 נשׂא and setteth H853 את   H5315 נפשׁו his heart H3808 ולא it: lest H7121 יקרא he cry H5921 עליך   H413 אל upon H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1961 והיה and it be H2399 בך חטא׃ sin
  16 H3808 לא shall not H4191 יומתו be put to death H1 אבות The fathers H5921 על for H1121 בנים the children, H1121 ובנים shall the children H3808 לא neither H4191 יומתו be put to death H5921 על for H1 אבות the fathers: H376 אישׁ every man H2399 בחטאו for his own sin. H4191 יומתו׃ shall be put to death
  17 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5186 תטה pervert H4941 משׁפט the judgment H1616 גר of the stranger, H3490 יתום of the fatherless; H3808 ולא nor H2254 תחבל take H899 בגד raiment H490 אלמנה׃ a widow's
  18 H2142 וזכרת But thou shalt remember H3588 כי that H5650 עבד a bondman H1961 היית thou wast H4714 במצרים in Egypt, H6299 ויפדך redeemed H3068 יהוה and the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H8033 משׁם thee thence: H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H6213 לעשׂות thee to do H853 את   H1697 הדבר thing. H2088 הזה׃ this
  19 H3588 כי When H7114 תקצר thou cuttest down H7105 קצירך thine harvest H7704 בשׂדך in thy field, H7911 ושׁכחת and hast forgot H6016 עמר a sheaf H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H3808 לא thou shalt not H7725 תשׁוב go again H3947 לקחתו to fetch H1616 לגר for the stranger, H3490 ליתום for the fatherless, H490 ולאלמנה and for the widow: H1961 יהיה it: it shall be H4616 למען that H1288 יברכך may bless H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 בכל thee in all H4639 מעשׂה the work H3027 ידיך׃ of thine hands.
  20 H3588 כי When H2251 תחבט thou beatest H2132 זיתך thine olive tree, H3808 לא thou shalt not H6286 תפאר go over the boughs H310 אחריך again: H1616 לגר for the stranger, H3490 ליתום for the fatherless, H490 ולאלמנה and for the widow. H1961 יהיה׃ it shall be
  21 H3588 כי When H1219 תבצר thou gatherest the grapes H3754 כרמך of thy vineyard, H3808 לא thou shalt not H5953 תעולל glean H310 אחריך afterward: H1616 לגר for the stranger, H3490 ליתום for the fatherless, H490 ולאלמנה and for the widow. H1961 יהיה׃ it shall be
  22 H2142 וזכרת And thou shalt remember H3588 כי that H5650 עבד a bondman H1961 היית thou wast H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H6213 לעשׂות thee to do H853 את   H1697 הדבר thing. H2088 הזה׃ this
