Deuteronomy 24:1-4 כי When יקח hath taken אישׁ a man אשׁה a wife, ובעלה and married והיה her, and it come to pass אם that לא no תמצא she find חן favor בעיניו in his eyes, כי because מצא he hath found בה ערות uncleanness דבר some וכתב in her: then let him write לה ספר her a bill כריתת of divorcement, ונתן and give בידה in her hand, ושׁלחה and send מביתו׃ her out of his house.

1 H3588 כי When H3947 יקח hath taken H376 אישׁ a man H802 אשׁה a wife, H1166 ובעלה and married H1961 והיה her, and it come to pass H518 אם that H3808 לא no H4672 תמצא she find H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניו in his eyes, H3588 כי because H4672 מצא he hath found H6172 בה ערות uncleanness H1697 דבר some H3789 וכתב in her: then let him write H5612 לה ספר her a bill H3748 כריתת of divorcement, H5414 ונתן and give H3027 בידה in her hand, H7971 ושׁלחה and send H1004 מביתו׃ her out of his house.

2 H3318 ויצאה And when she is departed H1004 מביתו out of his house, H1980 והלכה she may go H1961 והיתה and be H376 לאישׁ man's H312 אחר׃ another

3 H8130 ושׂנאה hate H376 האישׁ husband H314 האחרון And the latter H3789 וכתב her, and write H5612 לה ספר her a bill H3748 כריתת of divorcement, H5414 ונתן and giveth H3027 בידה in her hand, H7971 ושׁלחה and sendeth H1004 מביתו her out of his house; H176 או or H3588 כי if H4191 ימות die, H376 האישׁ husband H314 האחרון the latter H834 אשׁר which H3947 לקחה took H802 לו לאשׁה׃ her his wife;

4 H3808 לא not H3201 יוכל may H1167 בעלה husband, H7223 הראשׁון Her former H834 אשׁר which H7971 שׁלחה sent her away, H7725 לשׁוב her again H3947 לקחתה take H1961 להיות to be H802 לו לאשׁה his wife, H310 אחרי after that H834 אשׁר after that H2930 הטמאה she is defiled; H3588 כי for H8441 תועבה abomination H1931 הוא that H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3808 ולא and thou shalt not H2398 תחטיא to sin, H853 את H776 הארץ cause the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן giveth H5159 לך נחלה׃ thee an inheritance.
