4 H631 אסרו Harness H5483 הסוסים the horses; H5927 ועלו and get up, H6571 הפרשׁים ye horsemen, H3320 והתיצבו and stand forth H3553 בכובעים with helmets; H4838 מרקו furbish H7420 הרמחים the spears, H3847 לבשׁו put on H5630 הסרינת׃ the brigandines.

5 H4069 מדוע Wherefore H7200 ראיתי have I seen H1992 המה them H2844 חתים dismayed H5472 נסגים turned away H268 אחור back? H1368 וגבוריהם and their mighty ones H3807 יכתו are beaten down, H4498 ומנוס and are fled apace, H5127 נסו and are fled apace, H3808 ולא and look not back: H6437 הפנו and look not back: H4032 מגור fear H5439 מסביב round about, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

9 H5927 עלו Come up, H5483 הסוסים ye horses; H1984 והתהללו and rage, H7393 הרכב ye chariots; H3318 ויצאו come forth; H1368 הגבורים and let the mighty men H3568 כושׁ the Ethiopians H6316 ופוט and the Libyans, H8610 תפשׂי that handle H4043 מגן the shield; H3866 ולודים and the Lydians, H8610 תפשׂי that handle H1869 דרכי bend H7198 קשׁת׃ the bow.

H3238 היונה׃ the oppressing

17 H7121 קראו They did cry H8033 שׁם there, H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים of Egypt H7588 שׁאון a noise; H5674 העביר he hath passed H4150 המועד׃ the time appointed.

18 H2416 חי live, H589 אני I H5002 נאם saith H4428 המלך the King, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H8034 שׁמו whose name H3588 כי Surely H8396 כתבור as Tabor H2022 בהרים among the mountains, H3760 וככרמל and as Carmel H3220 בים by the sea, H935 יבוא׃ shall he come.

19 H3627 כלי furnish H1473 גולה thyself to go into captivity: H6213 עשׂי furnish H3427 לך יושׁבת dwelling H1323 בת O thou daughter H4714 מצרים in Egypt, H3588 כי for H5297 נף Noph H8047 לשׁמה waste H1961 תהיה shall be H3341 ונצתה and desolate H369 מאין without H3427 יושׁב׃ an inhabitant.

20 H5697 עגלה heifer, H3304 יפה פיה a very fair H4714 מצרים Egypt H7171 קרץ destruction H6828 מצפון out of the north. H935 בא cometh; H935 בא׃ it cometh

22 H6963 קולה The voice H5175 כנחשׁ like a serpent; H1980 ילך thereof shall go H3588 כי for H2428 בחיל with an army, H1980 ילכו they shall march H7134 ובקרדמות against her with axes, H935 באו and come H2404 לה כחטבי as hewers H6086 עצים׃ of wood.

23 H3772 כרתו They shall cut down H3293 יערה her forest, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3588 כי though H3808 לא it cannot H2713 יחקר be searched; H3588 כי because H7231 רבו they are more H697 מארבה than the grasshoppers, H369 ואין and innumerable. H1992 להם H4557 מספר׃ and innumerable.

24 H3001 הבישׁה shall be confounded; H1323 בת The daughter H4714 מצרים of Egypt H5414 נתנה she shall be delivered H3027 ביד into the hand H5971 עם of the people H6828 צפון׃ of the north.

25 H559 אמר saith; H3068 יהוה The LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2005 הנני H6485 פוקד H413 אל H527 אמון H4996 מנא H5921 ועל with H6547 פרעה and Pharaoh, H5921 ועל H4714 מצרים and Egypt, H5921 ועל H430 אלהיה their gods, H5921 ועל H4428 מלכיה and their kings; H5921 ועל H6547 פרעה even Pharaoh, H5921 ועל H982 הבטחים׃ and them that trust

26 H5414 ונתתים And I will deliver H3027 ביד them into the hand H1245 מבקשׁי of those that seek H5315 נפשׁם their lives, H3027 וביד and into the hand H5019 נבוכדראצר of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon, H3027 וביד and into the hand H5650 עבדיו of his servants: H310 ואחרי and afterward H3651 כן and afterward H7931 תשׁכן it shall be inhabited, H3117 כימי as in the days H6924 קדם of old, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

27 H859 ואתה thou, H408 אל not H3372 תירא But fear H5650 עבדי O my servant H3290 יעקב Jacob, H408 ואל and be not H2865 תחת dismayed, H3478 ישׂראל O Israel: H3588 כי for, H2005 הנני H3467 מושׁעך I will save H7350 מרחוק thee from afar off, H853 ואת H2233 זרעך and thy seed H776 מארץ from the land H7628 שׁבים of their captivity; H7725 ושׁב shall return, H3290 יעקוב and Jacob H8252 ושׁקט and be in rest H7599 ושׁאנן and at ease, H369 ואין and none H2729 מחריד׃ shall make afraid.

28 H859 אתה thou H408 אל not, H3372 תירא Fear H5650 עבדי my servant, H3290 יעקב O Jacob H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3588 כי for H854 אתך with H589 אני I H3588 כי thee; for H6213 אעשׂה I will make H3617 כלה a full end H3605 בכל of all H1471 הגוים the nations H834 אשׁר whither H5080 הדחתיך I have driven H8033 שׁמה whither H853 ואתך H3808 לא thee: but I will not H6213 אעשׂה make H3617 כלה a full end H3256 ויסרתיך of thee, but correct H4941 למשׁפט thee in measure; H5352 ונקה leave thee wholly H3808 לא yet will I not H5352 אנקך׃ unpunished.
