Nehemiah 13:5-13 ויעשׂ And he had prepared לו לשׁכה chamber, גדולה for him a great ושׁם where היו formerly לפנים formerly נתנים they laid את המנחה the meat offerings, הלבונה the frankincense, והכלים and the vessels, ומעשׂר and the tithes הדגן of the corn, התירושׁ the new wine, והיצהר and the oil, מצות which was commanded הלוים to the Levites, והמשׁררים and the singers, והשׁערים and the porters; ותרומת and the offerings הכהנים׃ of the priests.

5 H6213 ויעשׂ And he had prepared H3957 לו לשׁכה chamber, H1419 גדולה for him a great H8033 ושׁם where H1961 היו formerly H6440 לפנים formerly H5414 נתנים they laid H853 את H4503 המנחה the meat offerings, H3828 הלבונה the frankincense, H3627 והכלים and the vessels, H4643 ומעשׂר and the tithes H1715 הדגן of the corn, H8492 התירושׁ the new wine, H3323 והיצהר and the oil, H4687 מצות which was commanded H3881 הלוים to the Levites, H7891 והמשׁררים and the singers, H7778 והשׁערים and the porters; H8641 ותרומת and the offerings H3548 הכהנים׃ of the priests.

8 H7489 וירע And it grieved H3966 לי מאד me sore: H7993 ואשׁליכה therefore I cast forth H853 את H3605 כל all H3627 כלי stuff H1004 בית the household H2900 טוביה of Tobiah H2351 החוץ out H4480 מן of H3957 הלשׁכה׃ the chamber.

9 H559 ואמרה Then I commanded, H2891 ויטהרו and they cleansed H3957 הלשׁכות the chambers: H7725 ואשׁיבה brought I again H8033 שׁם and thither H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית of the house H430 האלהים of God, H854 את with H4503 המנחה the meat offering H3828 והלבונה׃ and the frankincense.

10 H3045 ואדעה And I perceived H3588 כי that H4521 מניות the portions H3881 הלוים of the Levites H3808 לא had not H5414 נתנה been given H1272 ויברחו were fled H376 אישׁ every one H7704 לשׂדהו to his field. H3881 הלוים for the Levites H7891 והמשׁררים and the singers, H6213 עשׂי that did H4399 המלאכה׃ the work,

11 H7378 ואריבה Then contended H854 את I with H5461 הסגנים the rulers, H559 ואמרה and said, H4069 מדוע Why H5800 נעזב forsaken? H1004 בית is the house H430 האלהים of God H6908 ואקבצם And I gathered them together, H5975 ואעמדם and set H5921 על them in H5977 עמדם׃ their place.

12 H3605 וכל all H3063 יהודה Judah H935 הביאו Then brought H4643 מעשׂר the tithe H1715 הדגן of the corn H8492 והתירושׁ and the new wine H3323 והיצהר and the oil H214 לאוצרות׃ unto the treasuries.

13 H686 ואוצרה And I made treasurers H5921 על over H214 אוצרות the treasuries, H8018 שׁלמיה Shelemiah H3548 הכהן the priest, H6659 וצדוק and Zadok H5608 הסופר the scribe, H6305 ופדיה Pedaiah: H4480 מן and of H3881 הלוים the Levites, H5921 ועל and next to H3027 ידם and next to H2605 חנן them Hanan H1121 בן the son H2139 זכור of Zaccur, H1121 בן the son H4983 מתניה of Mattaniah: H3588 כי for H539 נאמנים faithful, H2803 נחשׁבו they were counted H5921 ועליהם and their office H2505 לחלק to distribute H251 לאחיהם׃ unto their brethren.
