1 Chronicles 15:11-15

  11 H1732 And David H7121 called [H8799]   H6659 for Zadok H54 and Abiathar H3548 the priests H3881 , and for the Levites H222 , for Uriel H6222 , Asaiah H3100 , and Joel H8098 , Shemaiah H447 , and Eliel H5992 , and Amminadab,
  12 H559 And said [H8799]   H7218 unto them, Ye are the chief H1 of the fathers H3881 of the Levites H6942 : sanctify [H8690]   H251 yourselves, both ye and your brethren H5927 , that ye may bring up [H8689]   H727 the ark H3068 of the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel H3559 unto the place that I have prepared [H8689]   for it.
  13 H7223 For because ye did it not at the first H3068 , the LORD H430 our God H6555 made a breach [H8804]   H1875 upon us, for that we sought [H8804]   H4941 him not after the due order.
  14 H3548 So the priests H3881 and the Levites H6942 sanctified [H8691]   H5927 themselves to bring up [H8687]   H727 the ark H3068 of the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel.
  15 H1121 And the children H3881 of the Levites H5375 bare [H8799]   H727 the ark H430 of God H3802 upon their shoulders H4133 with the staves H4872 thereon, as Moses H6680 commanded [H8765]   H1697 according to the word H3068 of the LORD.
ERV(i) 11 And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab, 12 and said unto them, Ye are the heads of the fathers’ [houses] of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, unto [the place] that I have prepared for it. 13 For because ye [bare it] not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not according to the ordinance. 14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel. 15 And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.
