Jeremiah 16:4-7 They shall die of grievous deaths ; they shall not be lamented ; neither shall they be buried ; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth : and they shall be consumed by the sword , and by famine ; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven , and for the beasts of the earth.

6 H1419 Both the great H6996 and the small H4191 shall die [H8804] H776 in this land H6912 : they shall not be buried [H8735] H5594 , neither shall men lament [H8799] H1413 for them, nor cut [H8704] H7139 themselves, nor make themselves bald [H8735] for them:

7 H6536 Neither shall men tear [H8799] H60 themselves for them in mourning H5162 , to comfort [H8763] H4191 them for the dead [H8801] H3563 ; neither shall men give them the cup H8575 of consolation H8248 to drink [H8686] H1 for their father H517 or for their mother.

6 H4191 ומתו shall die H1419 גדלים Both the great H6996 וקטנים and the small H776 בארץ land: H2063 הזאת in this H3808 לא they shall not H6912 יקברו be buried, H3808 ולא neither H5594 יספדו shall lament H1992 להם H3808 ולא for them: nor H1413 יתגדד cut themselves, H3808 ולא nor H7139 יקרח make themselves bald H1992 להם׃

7 H3808 ולא Neither H6536 יפרסו shall tear H5921 להם על for them in H60 אבל mourning, H5162 לנחמו to comfort H5921 על them for H4191 מת the dead; H3808 ולא neither H8248 ישׁקו to drink H853 אותם H3563 כוס shall give them the cup H8575 תנחומים of consolation H5921 על for H1 אביו their father H5921 ועל or for H517 אמו׃ their mother.
