And she said [H8799]   H3212 unto her, Go [H8798]   H1323 , my daughter.
  3 H3212 And she went [H8799]   H935 , and came [H8799]   H3950 , and gleaned [H8762]   H7704 in the field H310 after H7114 the reapers [H8802]   H4745 : and her hap H7136 was to light [H8799]   H2513 on a part H7704 of the field H1162 belonging unto Boaz H4940 , who was of the kindred H458 of Elimelech.
  4 H1162 And, behold, Boaz H935 came [H8802]   H1035 from Bethlehem H559 , and said [H8799]   H7114 unto the reapers [H8802]   H3068 , The LORD H559 be with you. And they answered [H8799]   H3068 him, The LORD H1288 bless [H8762]   thee.
  5 H559 Then said [H8799]   H1162 Boaz H5288 unto his servant H5324 that was set [H8737]   H7114 over the reapers [H8802]   H5291 , Whose damsel is this?
  6 H5288 And the servant H5324 that was set [H8737]   H7114 over the reapers [H8802]   H6030 answered [H8799]   H559 and said [H8799]   H4125 , It is the Moabitish H5291 damsel H7725 that came back [H8804]   H5281 with Naomi H7704 out of the country H4124 of Moab:
  7 H559 And she said [H8799]   H3950 , I pray you, let me glean [H8762]   H622 and gather [H8804]   H310 after H7114 the reapers [H8802]   H6016 among the sheaves H935 : so she came [H8799]   H5975 , and hath continued [H8799]   H227 even H1242 from the morning H3427 until now, that she tarried [H8800]   H4592 a little H1004 in the house.
  8 H559 Then said [H8799]   H1162 Boaz H7327 unto Ruth H8085 , Hearest [H8804]   H1323 thou not, my daughter H3212 ? Go [H8799]   H3950 not to glean [H8800]   H312 in another H7704 field H5674 , neither go [H8799]   H1692 from hence, but abide [H8799]   H5291 here fast by my maidens:
  9 H5869 Let thine eyes H7704 be on the field H7114 that they do reap [H8799]   H1980 , and go [H8804]   H310 thou after H6680 them: have I not charged [H8765]   H5288 the young men H5060 that they shall not touch [H8800]   H6770 thee? and when thou art athirst [H8804]   H1980 , go [H8804]   H3627 unto the vessels H8354 , and drink [H8804]   H5288 of that which the young men H7579 have drawn [H8799]  .
  10 H5307 Then she fell [H8799]   H6440 on her face H7812 , and bowed [H8691]   H776 herself to the ground H559 , and said [H8799]   H4672 unto him, Why have I found [H8804]   H2580 grace H5869 in thine eyes H5234 , that thou shouldest take knowledge [H8687]   H5237 of me, seeing I am a stranger?
  11 H1162 And Boaz H6030 answered [H8799]   H559 and said [H8799]   H5046 unto her, It hath fully [H8715]   H5046 been shewed [H8717]   H6213 me, all that thou hast done [H8804]   H2545 unto thy mother in law H310 since H4194 the death H376 of thine husband H5800 : and how thou hast left [H8799]   H1 thy father H517 and thy mother H776 , and the land H4138 of thy nativity H3212 , and art come [H8799]   H5971 unto a people H3045 which thou knewest [H8804]   H8543 not heretofore H8032  .
  12 H3068 The LORD H7999 recompense [H8762]   H6467 thy work H8003 , and a full H4909 reward H3068 be given thee of the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel H3671 , under whose wings H935 thou art come [H8804]   H2620 to trust [H8800]  .
  13 H559 Then she said [H8799]   H4672 , Let me find [H8799]   H2580 favour H5869 in thy sight H113 , my lord H5162 ; for that thou hast comforted [H8765]   H1696 me, and for that thou hast spoken [H8765]   H3820 friendly H8198 unto thine handmaid H259 , though I be not like unto one H8198 of thine handmaidens.
  14 H1162 And Boaz H559 said [H8799]   H6256 unto her, At mealtime H400   H5066 come [H8798]   H1988 thou hither H398 , and eat [H8804]   H3899 of the bread H2881 , and dip [H8804]   H6595 thy morsel H2558 in the vinegar H3427 . And she sat [H8799]   H6654 beside H7114 the reapers [H8802]   H6642 : and he reached [H8799]   H7039 her parched H398 corn, and she did eat [H8799]   H7646 , and was sufficed [H8799]   H3498 , and left [H8686]  .
  15 H6965 And when she was risen up [H8799]   H3950 to glean [H8763]   H1162 , Boaz H6680 commanded [H8762]   H5288 his young men H559 , saying [H8800]   H3950 , Let her glean [H8762]   H6016 even among the sheaves H3637 , and reproach [H8686]   her not:
  16 H7997 And let fall [H8799]   H6653 also some of the handfuls H7997 of purpose [H8800]   H5800 for her, and leave [H8804]   H3950 them, that she may glean [H8765]   H1605 them, and rebuke [H8799]   her not.
  17 H3950 So she gleaned [H8762]   H7704 in the field H6153 until even H2251 , and beat out [H8799]   H3950 that she had gleaned [H8765]   H374 : and it was about an ephah H8184 of barley.
  18 H5375 And she took it up [H8799]   H935 , and went [H8799]   H5892 into the city H2545 : and her mother in law H7200 saw [H8799]   H3950 what she had gleaned [H8765]   H3318 : and she brought forth [H8686]   H5414 , and gave [H8799]   H3498 to her that she had reserved [H8689]   H7648 after she was sufficed.
  19 H2545 And her mother in law H559 said [H8799]   H3950 unto her, Where hast thou gleaned [H8765]   H3117 to day H375 ? and where H6213 wroughtest [H8804]   H1288 thou? blessed [H8803]   H5234 be he that did take knowledge [H8688]   H5046 of thee. And she shewed [H8686]   H2545 her mother in law H6213 with whom she had wrought [H8804]   H559 , and said [H8799]   H376 , The man's H8034 name H6213 with whom I wrought [H8804]   H3117 to day H1162 is Boaz.
  20 H5281 And Naomi H559 said [H8799]   H3618 unto her daughter in law H1288 , Blessed [H8803]   H3068 be he of the LORD H5800 , who hath not left off [H8804]   H2617 his kindness H2416 to the living H4191 and to the dead [H8801]   H5281 . And Naomi H559 said [H8799]   H376 unto her, The man H7138 is near of kin H1350 unto us, one of our next kinsmen [H8802]  .
  21 H7327 And Ruth H4125 the Moabitess H559 said [H8799]   H559 , He said [H8804]   H1692 unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast [H8799]   H5288 by my young men H3615 , until they have ended [H8765]   H7105 all my harvest.
  22 H5281 And Naomi H559 said [H8799]   H7327 unto Ruth H3618 her daughter in law H2896 , It is good H1323 , my daughter H3318 , that thou go out [H8799]   H5291 with his maidens H6293 , that they meet [H8799]   H312 thee not in any other H7704 field.
  23 H1692 So she kept fast [H8799]   H5291 by the maidens H1162 of Boaz H3950 to glean [H8763]   H3615 unto the end [H8800]   H8184 of barley H7105 harvest H2406 and of wheat H7105 harvest H3427 ; and dwelt [H8799]   H2545 with her mother in law.

  3 H1980 ותלך And she went, H935 ותבוא and came, H3950 ותלקט and gleaned H7704 בשׂדה in the field H310 אחרי after H7114 הקצרים the reapers: H7136 ויקר was to light H4745 מקרה and her hap H2513 חלקת on a part H7704 השׂדה of the field H1162 לבעז unto Boaz, H834 אשׁר who H4940 ממשׁפחת of the kindred H458 אלימלך׃ of Elimelech.
  4 H2009 והנה And, behold, H1162 בעז Boaz H935 בא came H1035 מבית לחם   H559 ויאמר and said H7114 לקוצרים unto the reapers, H3068 יהוה The LORD H5973 עמכם with H559 ויאמרו you. And they answered H1288 לו יברכך bless H3068 יהוה׃ him, The LORD
  5 H559 ויאמר Then said H1162 בעז Boaz H5288 לנערו unto his servant H5324 הנצב that was set H5921 על over H7114 הקוצרים the reapers, H4310 למי Whose H5291 הנערה damsel H2063 הזאת׃ this?
  6 H6030 ויען answered H5288 הנער And the servant H5324 הנצב that was set H5921 על over H7114 הקוצרים the reapers H559 ויאמר and said, H5291 נערה damsel H4125 מואביה the Moabitish H1931 היא It H7725 השׁבה that came back H5973 עם with H5281 נעמי Naomi H7704 משׂדה out of the country H4124 מואב׃ of Moab:
  7 H559 ותאמר And she said, H3950 אלקטה you, let me glean H4994 נא I pray H622 ואספתי and gather H6016 בעמרים among the sheaves: H310 אחרי after H7114 הקוצרים the reapers H935 ותבוא so she came, H5975 ותעמוד and hath continued H227 מאז even from H1242 הבקר the morning H5704 ועד until H6258 עתה now, H2088 זה that H3427 שׁבתה she tarried H1004 הבית in the house.   8 H559 ויאמר Then said H1162 בעז Boaz H413 אל unto H7327 רות Ruth, H3808 הלוא thou not, H8085 שׁמעת Hearest H1323 בתי my daughter? H408 אל not H1980 תלכי Go H3950 ללקט to glean H7704 בשׂדה field, H312 אחר in another H1571 וגם neither H3808 לא neither H5674 תעבורי go H2088 מזה from hence, H3541 וכה but H1692 תדבקין abide H5973 עם here fast by H5291 נערתי׃ my maidens:
  9 H5869 עיניך thine eyes H7704 בשׂדה on the field H834 אשׁר that H7114 יקצרון they do reap, H1980 והלכת and go H310 אחריהן thou after H3808 הלוא them: have I not H6680 צויתי charged H853 את   H5288 הנערים the young men H1115 לבלתי that they shall not H5060 נגעך touch H6770 וצמת thee? and when thou art athirst, H1980 והלכת go H413 אל unto H3627 הכלים the vessels, H8354 ושׁתית and drink H834 מאשׁר of which H7579 ישׁאבון have drawn.   10 H5307 ותפל Then she fell H5921 על on H6440 פניה her face, H7812 ותשׁתחו and bowed herself H776 ארצה to the ground, H559 ותאמר and said H413 אליו unto H4069 מדוע him, Why H4672 מצאתי have I found H2580 חן grace H5869 בעיניך in thine eyes, H5234 להכירני that thou shouldest take knowledge H595 ואנכי of me, seeing I H5237 נכריה׃ a stranger?
  11 H6030 ויען answered H1162 בעז And Boaz H559 ויאמר and said H5046 לה הגד unto her, It hath fully H5046 הגד been showed H3605 לי כל me, all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂית thou hast done H854 את   H2545 חמותך unto thy mother-in-law H310 אחרי since H4194 מות the death H376 אישׁך of thine husband: H5800 ותעזבי and thou hast left H1 אביך thy father H517 ואמך and thy mother, H776 וארץ and the land H4138 מולדתך of thy nativity, H1980 ותלכי and art come H413 אל unto H5971 עם a people H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not H3045 ידעת thou knewest H8543 תמול heretofore.   13 H559 ותאמר Then she said, H4672 אמצא Let me find H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניך in thy sight, H113 אדני my lord; H3588 כי for H5162 נחמתני that thou hast comforted H3588 וכי me, and for that H1696 דברת thou hast spoken H5921 על friendly H3820 לב friendly H8198 שׁפחתך unto thine handmaid, H595 ואנכי though I H3808 לא not H1961 אהיה be H259 כאחת like unto one H8198 שׁפחתיך׃ of thine handmaidens.
  14 H559 ויאמר said H1162 לה בעז And Boaz H6256 לעת   H400 האכל   H5066 גשׁי come H1988 הלם thou hither, H398 ואכלת and eat H4480 מן of H3899 הלחם the bread, H2881 וטבלת and dip H6595 פתך thy morsel H2558 בחמץ in the vinegar. H3427 ותשׁב And she sat H6654 מצד beside H7114 הקוצרים the reapers: H6642 ויצבט and he reached H7039 לה קלי her parched H398 ותאכל and she did eat, H7646 ותשׂבע and was sufficed, H3498 ותתר׃ and left.
  15 H6965 ותקם And when she was risen up H3950 ללקט to glean, H6680 ויצו commanded H1162 בעז Boaz H853 את   H5288 נעריו his young men, H559 לאמר saying, H1571 גם even H996 בין among H6016 העמרים the sheaves, H3950 תלקט Let her glean H3808 ולא her not: H3637 תכלימוה׃ and reproach
  16 H1571 וגם also H7997 שׁל And let fall H7997 תשׁלו of purpose H4480 לה מן of H6653 הצבתים the handfuls H5800 ועזבתם for her, and leave H3950 ולקטה that she may glean H3808 ולא her not. H1605 תגערו׃ and rebuke
  17 H3950 ותלקט So she gleaned H7704 בשׂדה in the field H5704 עד until H6153 הערב even, H2251 ותחבט and beat out H853 את   H834 אשׁר that H3950 לקטה she had gleaned: H1961 ויהי and it was H374 כאיפה about an ephah H8184 שׂערים׃ of barley.
  18 H5375 ותשׂא And she took up, H935 ותבוא and went H5892 העיר into the city: H7200 ותרא saw H2545 חמותה and her mother-in-law H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H3950 לקטה she had gleaned: H3318 ותוצא and she brought forth, H5414 ותתן and gave H853 לה את   H834 אשׁר to her that H3498 הותרה she had reserved H7648 משׂבעה׃ after she was sufficed.
  19 H559 ותאמר said H2545 לה חמותה And her mother-in-law H375 איפה unto her, Where H3950 לקטת hast thou gleaned H3117 היום today? H575 ואנה   H6213 עשׂית wroughtest H1961 יהי be H5234 מכירך he that did take knowledge H1288 ברוך thou? blessed H5046 ותגד of thee. And she showed H2545 לחמותה her mother-in-law H853 את   H834 אשׁר whom H6213 עשׂתה she had wrought, H5973 עמו with H559 ותאמר and said, H8034 שׁם name H376 האישׁ The man's H834 אשׁר whom H6213 עשׂיתי I wrought H5973 עמו with H3117 היום today H1162 בעז׃ Boaz.
  20 H559 ותאמר said H5281 נעמי And Naomi H3618 לכלתה unto her daughter-in-law, H1288 ברוך Blessed H1931 הוא he H3068 ליהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר who H3808 לא hath not H5800 עזב left off H2617 חסדו his kindness H854 את to H2416 החיים the living H854 ואת and to H4191 המתים the dead.   22 H559 ותאמר said H5281 נעמי And Naomi H413 אל unto H7327 רות Ruth H3618 כלתה her daughter-in-law, H2896 טוב good, H1323 בתי my daughter, H3588 כי that H3318 תצאי thou go out H5973 עם with H5291 נערותיו his maidens, H3808 ולא thee not H6293 יפגעו that they meet H7704 בך בשׂדה field.
