Ezekiel 9 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice , saying , Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near , even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

2 H8337 And, behold, six H582 men H935 came [H8802] H1870 from the way H5945 of the higher H8179 gate H6437 , which lieth [H8716] H6828 toward the north H376 , and every man H4660 a slaughter H3627 weapon H3027 in his hand H259 ; and one H376 man H8432 among H3847 them was clothed [H8803] H906 with linen H5608 , with a writer's [H8802] H7083 inkhorn H4975 by his side H935 : and they went in [H8799] H5975 , and stood [H8799] H681 beside H5178 the brasen H4196 altar.

3 H3519 And the glory H430 of the God H3478 of Israel H5927 was gone up [H8738] H3742 from the cherub H4670 , whereupon he was, to the threshold H1004 of the house H7121 . And he called [H8799] H376 to the man H3847 clothed [H8803] H906 with linen H5608 , which had the writer's [H8802] H7083 inkhorn H4975 by his side;

4 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799] H5674 unto him, Go through [H8798] H8432 the midst H5892 of the city H8432 , through the midst H3389 of Jerusalem H8427 , and set [H8689] H8420 a mark H4696 upon the foreheads H582 of the men H584 that sigh [H8737] H602 and that cry [H8737] H8441 for all the abominations H6213 that be done [H8737] H8432 in the midst thereof.

5 H428 And to the others H559 he said [H8804] H241 in mine hearing H5674 , Go [H8798] H310 ye after H5892 him through the city H5221 , and smite [H8685] H5869 : let not your eye H2347 spare [H8799] H2550 , neither have ye pity [H8799] :

6 H2026 Slay [H8799] H4889 utterly H2205 old H970 and young H1330 , both maids H2945 , and little children H802 , and women H5066 : but come not near [H8799] H376 any man H8420 upon whom is the mark H2490 ; and begin [H8686] H4720 at my sanctuary H2490 . Then they began [H8686] H2205 at the ancient H582 men H6440 which were before H1004 the house.

7 H559 And he said [H8799] H2930 unto them, Defile [H8761] H1004 the house H4390 , and fill [H8761] H2691 the courts H2491 with the slain H3318 : go ye forth [H8798] H3318 . And they went forth [H8804] H5221 , and slew [H8689] H5892 in the city.

8 H5221 And it came to pass, while they were slaying [H8687] H7604 them, and I was left [H8737] H5307 , that I fell [H8799] H6440 upon my face H2199 , and cried [H8799] H559 , and said [H8799] H162 , Ah H136 Lord H3069 GOD H7843 ! wilt thou destroy [H8688] H7611 all the residue H3478 of Israel H8210 in thy pouring out [H8800] H2534 of thy fury H3389 upon Jerusalem?

9 H559 Then said [H8799] H5771 he unto me, The iniquity H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel H3063 and Judah H3966 is exceeding H3966 H1419 great H776 , and the land H4390 is full [H8735] H1818 of blood H5892 , and the city H4390 full [H8804] H4297 of perverseness H559 : for they say [H8804] H3068 , The LORD H5800 hath forsaken [H8804] H776 the earth H3068 , and the LORD H7200 seeth [H8802] not.

10 H5869 And as for me also, mine eye H2347 shall not spare [H8799] H2550 , neither will I have pity [H8799] H5414 , but I will recompense [H8804] H1870 their way H7218 upon their head.

11 H376 And, behold, the man H3847 clothed [H8803] H906 with linen H7083 , which had the inkhorn H4975 by his side H7725 , reported [H8688] H1697 the matter H559 , saying [H8800] H6213 , I have done [H8804] H6680 as thou hast commanded [H8765] me.
