Habakkuk 2 I will stand upon my watch , and set me upon the tower , and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

3 H2377 For the vision H4150 is yet for an appointed time H7093 , but at the end H6315 it shall speak [H8686] H3576 , and not lie [H8762] H4102 : though it tarry [H8698] H2442 , wait [H8761] H935 for it; because it will surely [H8800] H935 come [H8799] H309 , it will not tarry [H8762] .

9 H1945 Woe H1214 to him that coveteth [H8802] H7451 an evil H1215 covetousness H1004 to his house H7760 , that he may set [H8800] H7064 his nest H4791 on high H5337 , that he may be delivered [H8736] H3709 from the power H7451 of evil!

10 H3289 Thou hast consulted [H8804] H1322 shame H1004 to thy house H7096 by cutting off [H8800] H7227 many H5971 people H2398 , and hast sinned [H8802] H5315 against thy soul.

12 H1945 Woe H1129 to him that buildeth [H8802] H5892 a town H1818 with blood H3559 , and stablisheth [H8790] H7151 a city H5766 by iniquity!

17 H2555 For the violence H3844 of Lebanon H3680 shall cover [H8762] H7701 thee, and the spoil H929 of beasts H2865 , which made them afraid [H8686] H120 , because of men's H1818 blood H2555 , and for the violence H776 of the land H7151 , of the city H3427 , and of all that dwell [H8802] therein.

18 H3276 What profiteth [H8689] H6459 the graven image H3335 that the maker [H8802] H6458 thereof hath graven [H8804] H4541 it; the molten image H3384 , and a teacher [H8688] H8267 of lies H3335 , that the maker [H8802] H3336 of his work H982 trusteth [H8804] H6213 therein, to make [H8800] H483 dumb H457 idols?

19 H1945 Woe H559 unto him that saith [H8802] H6086 to the wood H6974 , Awake [H8685] H1748 ; to the dumb H68 stone H5782 , Arise [H8798] H3384 , it shall teach [H8686] H8610 ! Behold, it is laid [H8803] H2091 over with gold H3701 and silver H7307 , and there is no breath H7130 at all in the midst of it.

20 H3068 But the LORD H6944 is in his holy H1964 temple H776 : let all the earth H2013 keep silence [H8761] H6440 before him.
