Jeremiah 7

  2 H5975 Stand [H8798]   H8179 in the gate H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house H7121 , and proclaim [H8804]   H1697 there this word H559 , and say [H8804]   H8085 , Hear [H8798]   H1697 the word H3068 of the LORD H3063 , all ye of Judah H935 , that enter in [H8802]   H8179 at these gates H7812 to worship [H8692]   H3068 the LORD.
  3 H559 Thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H3190 , Amend [H8685]   H1870 your ways H4611 and your doings H7931 , and I will cause you to dwell [H8762]   H4725 in this place.
  4 H982 Trust [H8799]   H8267 ye not in lying H1697 words H559 , saying [H8800]   H1964 , The temple H3068 of the LORD H1964 , The temple H3068 of the LORD H1964 , The temple H3068 of the LORD, are these.
  5 H3190 For if ye throughly [H8687]   H3190 amend [H8686]   H1870 your ways H4611 and your doings H6213 ; if ye throughly [H8800]   H6213 execute [H8799]   H4941 judgment H376 between a man H7453 and his neighbour;
  6 H6231 If ye oppress [H8799]   H1616 not the stranger H3490 , the fatherless H490 , and the widow H8210 , and shed [H8799]   H5355 not innocent H1818 blood H4725 in this place H3212 , neither walk [H8799]   H310 after H312 other H430 gods H7451 to your hurt:
  7 H7931 Then will I cause you to dwell [H8765]   H4725 in this place H776 , in the land H5414 that I gave [H8804]   H1 to your fathers H5704 , for H5769 ever H5769 and ever.
  8 H982 Behold, ye trust [H8802]   H8267 in lying H1697 words H3276 , that cannot profit [H8687]  .
  9 H1589 Will ye steal [H8800]   H7523 , murder [H8800]   H5003 , and commit adultery [H8800]   H7650 , and swear [H8736]   H8267 falsely H6999 , and burn incense [H8763]   H1168 unto Baal H1980 , and walk [H8800]   H310 after H312 other H430 gods H3045 whom ye know [H8804]   not;
  10 H935 And come [H8804]   H5975 and stand [H8804]   H6440 before H1004 me in this house H7121 , which is called [H8738]   H8034 by my name H559 , and say [H8804]   H5337 , We are delivered [H8738]   H6213 to do [H8800]   H8441 all these abominations?
  11 H1004 Is this house H7121 , which is called [H8738]   H8034 by my name H4631 , become a den H6530 of robbers H5869 in your eyes H7200 ? Behold, even I have seen [H8804]   H5002 it, saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD.
  12 H3212 But go [H8798]   H4725 ye now unto my place H7887 which was in Shiloh H7931 , where I set [H8765]   H8034 my name H7223 at the first H7200 , and see [H8798]   H6213 what I did [H8804]   H6440 to it for H7451 the wickedness H5971 of my people H3478 Israel.
  13 H6213 And now, because ye have done [H8800]   H4639 all these works H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H1696 , and I spake [H8762]   H7925 unto you, rising up early [H8687]   H1696 and speaking [H8763]   H8085 , but ye heard [H8804]   H7121 not; and I called [H8799]   H6030 you, but ye answered [H8804]   not;
  14 H6213 Therefore will I do [H8804]   H1004 unto this house H7121 , which is called [H8738]   H8034 by my name H982 , wherein ye trust [H8802]   H4725 , and unto the place H5414 which I gave [H8804]   H1 to you and to your fathers H6213 , as I have done [H8804]   H7887 to Shiloh.
  15 H7993 And I will cast you out [H8689]   H6440 of my sight H7993 , as I have cast out [H8689]   H251 all your brethren H2233 , even the whole seed H669 of Ephraim.
  16 H6419 Therefore pray [H8691]   H5971 not thou for this people H5375 , neither lift up [H8799]   H7440 cry H8605 nor prayer H1157 for them H6293 , neither make intercession [H8799]   H8085 to me: for I will not hear [H8802]   thee.
  17 H7200 Seest [H8802]   H6213 thou not what they do [H8802]   H5892 in the cities H3063 of Judah H2351 and in the streets H3389 of Jerusalem?
  18 H1121 The children H3950 gather [H8764]   H6086 wood H1 , and the fathers H1197 kindle [H8764]   H784 the fire H802 , and the women H3888 knead [H8802]   H1217 their dough H6213 , to make [H8800]   H3561 cakes H4446 to the queen H8064 of heaven H5258 , and to pour out [H8687]   H5262 drink offerings H312 unto other H430 gods H3707 , that they may provoke me to anger [H8687]  .
  19 H3707 Do they provoke me to anger [H8688]   H5002 ? saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H1322 : do they not provoke themselves to the confusion H6440 of their own faces?
  20 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H639 ; Behold, mine anger H2534 and my fury H5413 shall be poured out [H8737]   H4725 upon this place H120 , upon man H929 , and upon beast H6086 , and upon the trees H7704 of the field H6529 , and upon the fruit H127 of the ground H1197 ; and it shall burn [H8804]   H3518 , and shall not be quenched [H8799]  .
  21 H559 Thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H5595 ; Put [H8798]   H5930 your burnt offerings H2077 unto your sacrifices H398 , and eat [H8798]   H1320 flesh.
  22 H1696 For I spake [H8765]   H1 not unto your fathers H6680 , nor commanded [H8765]   H3117 them in the day H3318 that I brought them out [H8687]   H776 of the land H4714 of Egypt H1697 , concerning H5930 burnt offerings H2077 or sacrifices:
  23 H1697 But this thing H6680 commanded [H8765]   H559 I them, saying [H8800]   H8085 , Obey [H8798]   H6963 my voice H430 , and I will be your God H5971 , and ye shall be my people H1980 : and walk [H8804]   H1870 ye in all the ways H6680 that I have commanded [H8762]   H3190 you, that it may be well [H8799]   unto you.
  24 H8085 But they hearkened [H8804]   H5186 not, nor inclined [H8689]   H241 their ear H3212 , but walked [H8799]   H4156 in the counsels H8307 and in the imagination H7451 of their evil H3820 heart H268 , and went backward H6440 , and not forward.
  25 H3117 Since the day H1 that your fathers H3318 came forth out [H8804]   H776 of the land H4714 of Egypt H3117 unto this day H7971 I have even sent [H8799]   H5650 unto you all my servants H5030 the prophets H3117 , daily H7925 rising up early [H8687]   H7971 and sending [H8800]   them :
  26 H8085 Yet they hearkened [H8804]   H5186 not unto me, nor inclined [H8689]   H241 their ear H7185 , but hardened [H8686]   H6203 their neck H7489 : they did worse [H8689]   H1 than their fathers.
  27 H1696 Therefore thou shalt speak [H8765]   H1697 all these words H8085 unto them; but they will not hearken [H8799]   H7121 to thee: thou shalt also call [H8804]   H6030 unto them; but they will not answer [H8799]   thee.
  28 H559 But thou shalt say [H8804]   H1471 unto them, This is a nation H8085 that obeyeth [H8804]   H6963 not the voice H3068 of the LORD H430 their God H3947 , nor receiveth [H8804]   H4148 correction H530 : truth H6 is perished [H8804]   H3772 , and is cut off [H8738]   H6310 from their mouth.
  29 H1494 Cut off [H8798]   H5145 thine hair H7993 , O Jerusalem, and cast it away [H8685]   H5375 , and take up [H8798]   H7015 a lamentation H8205 on high places H3068 ; for the LORD H3988 hath rejected [H8804]   H5203 and forsaken [H8799]   H1755 the generation H5678 of his wrath.
  30 H1121 For the children H3063 of Judah H6213 have done [H8804]   H7451 evil H5869 in my sight H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H7760 : they have set [H8804]   H8251 their abominations H1004 in the house H7121 which is called [H8738]   H8034 by my name H2930 , to pollute [H8763]   it.
  31 H1129 And they have built [H8804]   H1116 the high places H8612 of Tophet H1516 , which is in the valley H1121 of the son H2011 of Hinnom H8313 , to burn [H8800]   H1121 their sons H1323 and their daughters H784 in the fire H6680 ; which I commanded [H8765]   H5927 them not, neither came [H8804]   H3820 it into my heart.
  32 H3117 Therefore, behold, the days H935 come [H8802]   H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H559 , that it shall no more be called [H8735]   H8612 Tophet H1516 , nor the valley H1121 of the son H2011 of Hinnom H1516 , but the valley H2028 of slaughter H6912 : for they shall bury [H8804]   H8612 in Tophet H369 , till there be no H4725 place.
  33 H5038 And the carcases H5971 of this people H3978 shall be meat H5775 for the fowls H8064 of the heaven H929 , and for the beasts H776 of the earth H2729 ; and none shall fray them away [H8688]  .
  34 H7673 Then will I cause to cease [H8689]   H5892 from the cities H3063 of Judah H2351 , and from the streets H3389 of Jerusalem H6963 , the voice H8342 of mirth H6963 , and the voice H8057 of gladness H6963 , the voice H2860 of the bridegroom H6963 , and the voice H3618 of the bride H776 : for the land H2723 shall be desolate.
