Wherfore shulde they saye amonge the Heathen: where is nowe theyr God? ¹⁸ Then shall the Lorde be gelous ouer hys lande, & spare his people: ¹⁹ yea, the Lorde shall aunswere, and say vnto his people: Behold, I will sende you corne, wyne & oyle, so that ye shall haue plentye of them: & I wyll no more geue you ouer to be a reprofe amonge the heathen. ²⁰ Agayne, as for hym of the Norh, I shal dryue hym farre from you: & shute him out into a drye and waste lande, hys face towarde the east sea, and hys hynder partes towarde the vtmost sea. The styncke of hym shall go vp, and his fylthy corrupcyon shall fal vpon himselfe, because he hath dealte so proudelye.
