Genesis 13:5-11

TKJU(i) 5 And Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. 6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: For their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. 7 And there was a strife between the herdsmen of Abram's domestic beasts and the herdsmen of Lot's domestic beasts: And the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled in the land at that time. 8 And Abram said to Lot, "Let there be no strife, I implore you, between me and you, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before you? Separate yourself, I implore you, from me: If you will take the left hand side, then I will go to the right; or if you depart to the right hand side, then I will go to the left." 10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of the Jordan river, that it was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as you come to Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of the Jordan river; and Lot journeyed east: And they separated themselves from each other.
