And he said, "This is an ephah that goes forth." Moreover he said, "This is their resemblance through all the earth."ephah; or, diverse measure ⁷ And behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: And this is a woman that sits in the middle of the ephah.1 Hebrew talent of lead weighed 125 pounds, or ~56.7 kilograms; per Easton's Illustrated Bible Dictionary, Appendix VI. ⁸ And he said, "This is wickedness." And he cast it into the middle of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth of it.
