Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ And when they shall be performing their testimony the beast which ascendeth out of the bottomless gulf will come to battle with them, and overcome them, and kill them, ⁸ and their corpses will be in the broad street of the great city which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt where our Lord was crucified; ⁹ and some of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will see their dead bodies three days and a half and will not permit their dead bodies to be put in graves. ¹⁰ And they who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and be glad, and will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented them who dwelt on the earth.
