2 Chronicles 20:6-12

VIN(i) 6 and he said, "O LORD, the God of our fathers, aren't you God in heaven? Aren't you ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in your hand, so that no one is able to withstand you. 7 Did you not, our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? 8 and they have lived in it, and have built in it a sanctuary to You for Your name, saying, 9 'If evil comes upon us, such as war as punishment, disease, or famine and we stand in your presence in this temple (because your Name is in this temple) and cry out to you in our distress, then you will hear and deliver.' 10 And now, behold, the sons of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir (whom you would not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned aside from them and did not destroy them), 11 now behold, they are rewarding us by coming to dispossess us from your possession which you gave us as an inheritance. 12 Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that comes against us. We don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”
