6 And he made an atonement cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits its length and a cubit and a half its width.
7 and made two cherubims of thick gold upon the two ends of the mercy seat:
8 Placing one at one end and one at the other; the winged ones were part of the cover.
9 The cherubim had their wings spread upward. They covered the mercy seat with their wings. The faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat and toward each other.
