Psalms 58

VIN(i) 1 Do you indeed speak righteousness, silent ones? Do you judge blamelessly, you sons of men? 2 No, in your heart you plan injustices; in the land you weigh out the violence of your hands. 3 The wicked go astray from the womb; they err as soon as they are born, speaking lies. 4 Their venom is like the venom of a serpent, Like a deaf cobra that has contracted its ear, 5 It does not listen to the voice of charmers, no matter how skillful the charmer may be. 6 God broke their teeth in their mouths; the lord fractured in pieces the molars of the lions. 7 Let them vanish like water that flows away. When they draw the bow, let their arrows be made blunt. 8 Like a slug melting away as it goes along; Like the stillborn of a woman, they will fail to perceive the sun." 9 Before your pots can feel the heat of a thornbush, whether green or dry, he will sweep it away. 10 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees vengeance; he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. 11 A person will say, "Certainly, the righteous are rewarded; certainly there is a God who judges the earth."
