Deuteronomy 27 Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, "Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.

1 H4872 Moses H2205 and the elders H3478 of Israel H6680 commanded H5971 the people, H559 saying, H8104 "Keep H4687 all the commandment H6680 which I command H3117 you this day.

2 H3117 It shall be on the day H5674 when you shall pass over H3383 the Jordan H776 to the land H3068 which Yahweh H430 your God H5414 gives H6965 you, that you shall set yourself up H1419 great H68 stones, H7874 and plaster H7874 them with plaster:

3 H3789 and you shall write H1697 on them all the words H8451 of this law, H5674 when you have passed over; H935 that you may go in H776 to the land H3068 which Yahweh H430 your God H5414 gives H776 you, a land H2100 flowing H2461 with milk H1706 and honey, H3068 as Yahweh, H430 the God H1 of your fathers, H1696 has promised you.

4 H5674 It shall be, when you have passed over H3383 the Jordan, H6965 that you shall set up H68 these stones, H6680 which I command H3117 you this day, H2022 in Mount H5858 Ebal, H7875 and you shall plaster H7875 them with plaster.

5 H1129 There you shall build H4196 an altar H3068 to Yahweh H430 your God, H4196 an altar H68 of stones: H5130 you shall lift up H1270 no iron on them.

6 H1129 You shall build H4196 the altar H3068 of Yahweh H430 your God H8003 of uncut H68 stones; H5927 and you shall offer H5930 burnt offerings H3068 thereon to Yahweh H430 your God:

7 H2076 and you shall sacrifice H8002 peace offerings, H398 and shall eat H8055 there; and you shall rejoice H6440 before H3068 Yahweh H430 your God.

8 H3789 You shall write H68 on the stones H1697 all the words H8451 of this law H3190 very H874 plainly."

9 H4872 Moses H3548 and the priests H3881 the Levites H1696 spoke H3478 to all Israel, H559 saying, H5535 "Keep silence, H8085 and listen, H3478 Israel: H3117 this day H1961 you have become H5971 the people H3068 of Yahweh H430 your God.

10 H8085 You shall therefore obey H6963 the voice H3068 of Yahweh H430 your God, H6213 and do H4687 his commandments H2706 and his statutes, H6680 which I command H3117 you this day."

11 H4872 Moses H6680 commanded H5971 the people H3117 the same day, H559 saying,

12 H5975 "These shall stand H2022 on Mount H1630 Gerizim H1288 to bless H5971 the people, H5674 when you have passed over H3383 the Jordan: H8095 Simeon, H3878 and Levi, H3063 and Judah, H3485 and Issachar, H3130 and Joseph, H1144 and Benjamin.

13 H5975 These shall stand H2022 on Mount H5858 Ebal H7045 for the curse: H7205 Reuben, H1410 Gad, H836 and Asher, H2074 and Zebulun, H1835 Dan, H5321 and Naphtali.

14 H3881 The Levites H6030 shall answer, H6030 and tell H376 all the men H3478 of Israel H7311 with a loud H6963 voice,

15 H779 ‘Cursed H376 is the man H6213 who makes H6459 an engraved H4541 or molten image, H8441 an abomination H3068 to Yahweh, H4639 the work H3027 of the hands H2796 of the craftsman, H7760 and sets H5643 it up in secret.' H5971 All the people H6030 shall answer H559 and say, H543 ‘Amen.'

16 H779 ‘Cursed H7034 is he who sets light H1 by his father H517 or his mother.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

17 H779 ‘Cursed H5253 is he who removes H7453 his neighbor's H1366 landmark.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

18 H779 ‘Cursed H5787 is he who makes the blind H7686 to wander H1870 out of the way.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

19 H779 'Cursed H5186 is he who deprives H1616 the foreigner, H3490 fatherless, H490 and widow H4941 of justice.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

20 H779 ‘Cursed H7901 is he who lies H1 with his father's H802 wife, H1540 because he has uncovered H1 his father's H3671 skirt.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

21 H779 ‘Cursed H7901 is he who lies H929 with any kind of animal.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

22 H779 ‘Cursed H7901 is he who lies H269 with his sister, H1323 the daughter H1 of his father, H1323 or the daughter H517 of his mother.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

23 H779 ‘Cursed H7901 is he who lies H2859 with his mother-in-law.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

24 H779 ‘Cursed H5221 is he who strikes H7453 his neighbor H5643 in secret.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

25 H779 ‘Cursed H3947 is he who takes H7810 a bribe H5221 to kill H5355 an innocent H5315 person.' H5971 All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'

26 H779 ‘Cursed H6965 is he who doesn't confirm H1697 the words H8451 of this law H6213 to do H5971 them.' All the people H559 shall say, H543 ‘Amen.'"
