1 Samuel 29 Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek : and the Israelites encamped by a fountain which is in Jezreel.

And Achish H559 [H8799] said H8269 to the princes H6430 of the Philistines H1732 , Is not this David H5650 , the servant H7586 of Saul H4428 the king H3478 of Israel H3117 , who hath been with me these days H8141 , or these years H4672 [H8804] , and I have found H3972 no fault H3117 in him since H5307 [H8800] he fell H3117 to me to this day?

5 H1732 Is not this David H6030 [H8799] , of whom they sang H4246 one to another in dances H559 [H8800] , saying H7586 , Saul H5221 [H8689] slew H505 his thousands H1732 , and David H7233 his ten thousands?

6 H397 Then Achish H7121 [H8799] called H1732 David H559 [H8799] , and said H3068 to him, Surely, as the LORD H2416 liveth H3477 , thou hast been upright H3318 [H8800] , and thy going out H935 [H8800] and thy coming in H4264 with me in the host H2896 is good H5869 in my sight H4672 [H8804] : for I have not found H7451 evil H3117 in thee from the day H935 [H8800] of thy coming H3117 to me to this day H5633 : nevertheless the lords H2896 favour H5869 thee not.

7 H7725 [H8798] Therefore now return H3212 [H8798] , and go H7965 in peace H6213 H7451 H5869 [H8799] , that thou displease H5633 not the lords H6430 of the Philistines.

8 H1732 And David H559 [H8799] said H397 to Achish H6213 [H8804] , But what have I done H4672 [H8804] ? and what hast thou found H5650 in thy servant H3117 so long as H6440 I have been with thee H3117 to this day H935 [H8799] , that I may not go H3898 [H8738] and fight H341 [H8802] against the enemies H113 of my lord H4428 the king?

9 H397 And Achish H6030 [H8799] answered H559 [H8799] and said H1732 to David H3045 [H8804] , I know H2896 that thou art good H5869 in my sight H4397 , as an angel H430 of God H8269 : however the princes H6430 of the Philistines H559 [H8804] have said H5927 [H8799] , He shall not go up H4421 with us to the battle.

10 H7925 [H8685] Therefore now rise early H1242 in the morning H113 with thy master's H5650 servants H935 [H8804] that are come H7925 [H8689] with thee: and as soon as ye shall have risen early H1242 in the morning H215 [H8804] , and have light H3212 [H8798] , depart.

11 H1732 So David H582 and his men H7925 [H8686] rose early H3212 [H8800] to depart H1242 in the morning H7725 [H8800] , to return H776 into the land H6430 of the Philistines H6430 . And the Philistines H5927 [H8804] went up H3157 to Jezreel.
