Wesley⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ And sent forth his servants to call them that were invited, to the marriage; but they would not come. ⁴ Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them who were invited, behold I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage. ⁵ But they slighting it, went one to his farm, another to his merchandise. ⁶ And the rest laying hold on his servants, treated them shamefully and slew them. ⁷ And the king hearing it was wroth, and sending forth his troops, destroyed those murderers and burnt their city.
