These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which proceeded out of his mouth: And all the fowls were filled with their flesh. ²⁰ ¹ And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in hit hand. ² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. ³ And cast him into the abyss, and shut [him] up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: after that he must be loosed a little season.
