Lithuanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ Po to Dovydas sumušė Hemato krašte Cobos karalių Hadadezerą, kai jis kariavo, norėdamas išplėsti savo valdžią iki Eufrato upės. ⁴ Dovydas atėmė iš jo tūkstantį kovos vežimų, paėmė nelaisvėn septynis šimtus raitelių ir dvidešimt tūkstančių pėstininkų. Jis pakirto žirgams kojas ir pasilaikė sau žirgų tik dėl šimto kovos vežimų. ⁵ Kai Damasko sirai atėjo į pagalbą Cobos karaliui Hadadezerui, Dovydas nukovė dvidešimt du tūkstančius sirų. ⁶ Dovydas paskyrė įgulas Damaske. Sirai tapo Dovydo tarnais ir mokėjo jam duoklę. Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ David a bătut pe Hadarezer, împăratul Ţobei, spre Hamat, cînd s'a dus să-şi aşeze stăpînirea peste rîul Eufratului. ⁴ David i -a luat o mie de cară, şapte mii de călăreţi, şi două zeci de mii de pedestraşi; a tăiat vinele tuturor cailor de trăsuri, şi n'a păstrat decît o sută de cară. ⁵ Sirienii din Damasc au venit în ajutorul lui Hadarezer, împăratul Ţobei, şi David a bătut douăzeci şi două de mii de Sirieni. ⁶ David a pus o strajă de oşti în Siria Damascului. Şi Sirienii au fost supuşi lui David, şi i-au plătit bir. І попідрізував Давид жили коням усіх колесниць, і позоставив із них тільки сотню для колесниць. ⁵ І прийшов Арам із Дамаску на поміч Гадад'езерові, цареві цовському, та Давид вибив серед сиріян двадцять і дві тисячі чоловіка. ⁶ І поставив Давид у Сирії Дамаській залогу, і сиріяни стали для Давида рабами, що приносили дари. А Господь допомагав Давидові скрізь, де він ходив. ⁷ І позабирав Давид золоті щити, що були на Гадад'езерових рабах, і позносив їх до Єрусалиму. ⁸ А з Тівхату та з Куну, Гадад'езерових міст, позабирав Давид дуже багато міді, з неї поробив Соломон мідяне море й стовпи, та мідяні речі. ⁹ І прочув Тоу, цар хамотський, що Давид побив усе військо Гадад'езера, царя цовського.
