2 Toţi slujitorii împăratului, cari stăteau la poarta împăratului, plecau genunchiul şi se închinau înaintea lui Haman, căci aşa era porunca împăratului cu privire la el. Dar Mardoheu nu-şi pleca genunchiul şi nu se închina.
