15 The Israelis’ Appeal Rejected by PharaohThe Israeli supervisors came and cried out to Pharaoh, “Why are you doing this to us? 16 No straw is being given to us, yet they’re saying to us, ‘Make bricks!’ Look, we are being beaten. It’s wrong how you are treating your people!”

Arabic(i) 7 لا تعودوا تعطون الشعب تبنا لصنع اللبن كامس واول من امس. ليذهبوا هم ويجمعوا تبنا لانفسهم. 8 ومقدار اللبن الذي كانوا يصنعونه امس واول من امس تجعلون عليهم. لا تنقصوا منه. فانهم متكاسلون لذلك يصرخون قائلين نذهب ونذبح لالهنا. 9 ليثقل العمل على القوم حتى يشتغلوا به ولا يلتفتوا الى كلام الكذب. 10 فخرج مسخّرو الشعب ومدبّروه وكلموا الشعب قائلين هكذا يقول فرعون لست اعطيكم تبنا. 11 اذهبوا انتم وخذوا لانفسكم تبنا من حيث تجدون. انه لا ينقص من عملكم شيء 12 فتفرّق الشعب في كل ارض مصر ليجمعوا قشا عوضا عن التبن. 13 وكان المسخّرون يعجّلونهم قائلين كمّلوا اعمالكم امر كل يوم بيومه كما كان حينما كان التبن. 14 فضرب مدبرو بني اسرائيل الذين اقامهم عليهم مسخّرو فرعون وقيل لهم لماذا لم تكملوا فريضتكم من صنع اللبن امس واليوم كالامس واول من امس. 15 فأتى مدبرو بنو اسرائيل وصرخوا الى فرعون قائلين لماذا تفعل هكذا بعبيدك. 16 التبن ليس يعطى لعبيدك واللبن يقولون لنا اصنعوه. وهوذا عبيدك مضروبون. وقد اخطأ شعبك. 17 فقال متكاسلون انتم متكاسلون. لذلك تقولون نذهب ونذبح للرب. 18 فالآن اذهبوا اعملوا. وتبن لا يعطى لكم ومقدار اللبن تقدمونه 19 فرأى مدبّرو بني اسرائيل انفسهم في بليّة اذ قيل لهم لا تنقصوا من لبنكم امر كل يوم بيومه.

Lijenčine su. Zato viču: 'Hajdemo prinijeti žrtvu Bogu svome!' 9 Navalite poslove na taj svijet: neka rade, da ne obraćaju pažnje klevetama!" 10 Sad dođu nadglednici naroda i njegovi bilježnici te svijetu objave: "Ovako poručuje faraon: 'Neću vam više nabavljati slame. 11 Vi sami morate ići i tražiti je gdje god je možete naći. For de er dovne; derfor skriker de og sier: La oss gå og ofre til vår Gud! 9 Legg tungt arbeid på disse mennesker, så de har nok med det og ikke hører efter løgnaktige ord! 10 Da gikk arbeidsfogdene og opsynsmennene ut og sa til folket: Så sier Farao: Jeg gir eder ikke lenger halm. 11 Gå selv og finn eder halm, hvor I kan; Men i eders arbeid skal det ikke avkortes noget. 12 Da spredte folket sig over hele Egyptens land for å sanke stubber til å bruke istedenfor halm. 13 Men arbeidsfogdene drev på og sa: Gjør eders arbeid ferdig, fullt dagsverk for hver dag, likesom dengang I hadde halm. 14 Og opsynsmennene som Faraos arbeidsfogder hadde satt over Israels barn, fikk hugg, og arbeidsfogdene sa til dem: Hvorfor har I ikke gjort ferdig den fastsatte mengde teglsten, likesom før, hverken igår eller idag? 15 Da gikk opsynsmennene over Israels barn til Farao og klaget høilydt for ham og sa: Hvorfor gjør du således med dine tjenere? 16 Dine tjenere får ikke halm, og allikevel sier de til oss: Gjør tegl! Og så får dine tjenere hugg, enda det er ditt eget folk som har skylden. 17 Men han sa: Dovne er I, dovne! Derfor sier I: Vi vil gå og ofre til Herren. 18 Så gå nu og arbeid! Halm får I ikke, men den fastsatte mengde tegl skal I komme med. 19 Israels barns opsynsmenn så at de var ille farne, da det blev sagt til dem: I skal ikke avkorte noget i den teglsten I skal ha ferdig - fullt dagsverk for hver dag!
Romanian(i) 7 ,,Să nu mai daţi poporului paie ca mai înainte pentru facerea cărămizilor; ci să se ducă singuri să strîngă paie. 8 Totuş să le cereţi acelaş număr de cărămizi, pe cari le făceau mai înainte; să nu le scădeţi nimic din ele, căci sînt nişte leneşi; de aceea strigă mereu:,Haidem să aducem jertfe Dumnezeului nostru.` 9 Să se dea mult de lucru oamenilor acestora, ca să aibă de lucru, şi să nu mai umble după năluci.`` 10 Isprăvniceii poporului şi logofeţii au venit şi au spus poporului:,,Aşa vorbeşte Faraon:,Nu vă mai dau paie; 11 duceţi-vă singuri de vă luaţi paie de unde veţi găsi; dar nu vi se scade nimic din lucrul vostru.`` 12 Poporul s'a răspîndit în toată ţara Egiptului, ca să strîngă mirişte în loc de paie. 13 Isprăvniceii îi sileau, zicînd:,,Isprăviţi-vă lucrul, zi de zi, ca şi atunci cînd erau paie!`` 14 Au bătut chiar pe logofeţii copiilor lui Israel, puşi peste ei de isprăvniceii lui Faraon.,,Pentruce``, li se zicea,,,n'aţi isprăvit ieri şi azi, ca mai înainte, numărul de cărămizi, care vă fusese hotărît?`` 15 Logofeţii copiilor lui Israel s'au dus să se plîngă la Faraon, şi i-au zis:,,Pentruce te porţi aşa cu robii tăi? 16 Robilor tăi nu li se mai dau paie ca mai înainte, şi totuş ni se spune:,Faceţi cărămizi!` Ba încă, robii tăi sînt şi bătuţi, ca şi cînd poporul tău ar fi vinovat.`` 17 Faraon a răspuns:,,Sînteţi nişte leneşi şi nişte trîntori! De aceea ziceţi:,Haidem să aducem jertfe Domnului!` 18 Acum, duceţi-vă îndată de lucraţi; nu vi se vor da paie, şi veţi face acelaş număr de cărămizi.`` 19 Logofeţii copiilor lui Israel au văzut în ce stare nenorocită erau, cînd li se zicea:,,Nu vi se scade nimic din numărul de cărămizi; ci în fiecare zi să faceţi lucrul cuvenit unei zile.``
Ukrainian(i) 7 Не давайте більше народові соломи, щоб робити цеглу, як учора й позавчора. Нехай ідуть самі, та збирають собі соломи. 8 А призначене число цегли, що вони робили вчора й позавчора, накладете на них, не зменшуйте з нього. Вони нероби, тому кричать: Ходім, принесімо жертву нашому Богові! 9 Нехай буде тяжка праця на цих людей, і нехай працюють на ній, і нехай покинуть облудні слова. 10 І вийшли погоничі народу й писарі його, та й сказали до того народу, говорячи: Так сказав фараон: Я не буду давати вам соломи. 11 Самі йдіть, наберіть собі соломи, де знайдете, бо нічого не зменшене з вашої роботи!. 12 І розпорошився народ той по всій єгипетській землі, щоб збирати стерню на солому. 13 А погоничі наставали, говорячи: Скінчіть вашу щоденну працю в час так, як коли б була солома. 14 І були биті писарі синів Ізраїлевих, що їх настановили над ними фараонові погоничі, говорячи: Чому ви не скінчили свого приділу для виробу цегли й учора й сьогодні, як було дотепер? 15 І прибули писарі Ізраїлевих синів, та й кричали до фараона, говорячи: Для чого ти так робиш рабам своїм? 16 Соломи не дають твоїм рабам, а цеглу кажуть нам робіть! І ось раби твої биті, і грішиш ти перед народом своїм! 17 А він відказав: Нероби ви, нероби! Тому ви говорите: Ходім, принесімо жертву Господеві. 18 А тепер ідіть, працюйте, а соломи не дадуть вам! Але призначене число цегли ви дасте! 19 І бачили Ізраїлеві писарі себе в біді, коли говорено: Не зменшуйте з цегли вашої щоденного в його часі!
