¹⁵ And in this confidence I was desirous to come to you before, that ye might have a second benefit;

²⁴ Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy; for in faith ye stand fast.

⁹ For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are powerful; this also we pray for, even your perfection.

¹¹ Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of the same mind, be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

²⁵ And being persuaded of this, I know that I shall remain, and shall continue with you all for your furtherance and joy in the faith;

²⁸ whom we announce, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;

¹² Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, salutes you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

¹⁷ But we, brethren, having been severed from you for a short time, in presence, not in heart, endeavored the more abundantly to see your face, with great desire. ¹⁸ Wherefore we would fain have come to you, even I, Paul, once and again; and Satan hindered us.

¹¹ Now God and our Father himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.

¹¹ To which end we also pray for you always, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and accomplish all the good pleasure of goodness and the work of faith, with power;

³ I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

²² But at the same time be preparing for me also a lodging; for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given to you.

⁸ And the four animals had each of them six wings apiece; around and within they are full of eyes; and they have no rest by day and by night, saying: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God the Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.

¹⁵ Therefore are they before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.
