¹⁸ But we all, with unvailed face beholding in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we beheld his glory, a glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

⁴¹ These things said Isaiah, because he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

¹² For we see now in a mirror, obscurely; but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then I shall know fully, even as I also am fully known.

⁴⁹ And as we bore the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

⁴ in whom the god of this world blinded the understandings of the unbelieving, that they should not discern the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

⁶ Because it is God, who commands light to shine out of darkness; who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

¹⁷ So that if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, all things have become new.

¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

²² that ye put off, as concerns your former deportment, the old man who is corrupted according to the lusts of deceit, ²³ and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, ²⁴ and put on the new man, who was created after God in the righteousness and holiness of the truth.

¹⁰ and have put on the new man, who is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him who created him;

¹¹ according to the glorious gospel of the blissful God, with which I was entrusted.

⁵ not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the bathing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit;

²³ For if any one is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like to a man beholding his natural face in a mirror.

⁵ yea for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith fortitude; and to fortitude, knowledge; ⁶ and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, patience; and to patience, godliness; ⁷ and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. ⁸ For if these things are in you, and abound, they cause that ye shall not be inactive nor unfruitful in attaining to the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ But he that lacks these things is blind, not seeing afar off, having forgotten the cleansing away of his old sins.
